Memorial Hermann Grad Nurse Program Spring 2020
About the assessment, I wouldn't worry about that - I honestly don't even remember it that well. I don't think I finished either ? Regarding salary - I interviewed for and accepted a position with the PICU. I actually missed the call from the recruiter telling me I got the job, but she left a voicemail telling me I was offered the position. When I returned her call, I was able to ask about what shift I was hired on to and what the salary looked like. My base pay is $29.10/hr - I'm unsure what the shift differential is and if that applies to residents or if I'll have to wait until after residency for that extra pay since I will be on night shift. From what I know about the hospitals in the medical center, this is very similar to what other places pay their new grad nurses.

I was always advised against declining an offer after you’ve accepted it, as it can be kind of unprofessional. Just make sure you haven’t signed anything binding you to that hospital if you do end up doing that.

No, I'm sticking with the offer I accepted ? When I accepted the offer I emailed the TCH recruiter that I would be withdrawing my application because I accepted another offer and she never replied.

Yeah, I ended up receiving another offer and accepting it - I waited a bit to see if TCH would start making calls, but that didn't start happening to I accepted the other job I was offered
