Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I don’t plan on going back to school but I don’t plan on staying on med surg for that long either. Location isn’t an issue for me cause I’ll drive anywhere.

Anyone knows if TCH is still calling people? Or anything on their hem/onc unit?

 Depends on what floor you would rather work at.  What floor were you offered at Methodist? Also, the parking they pay for is smith land Parking and you get on a shuttle to get to the hospitals in the medical center.  The garage is still $13 for the day.

I received an offer on Friday for tmc so maybe they’re slowly sending them still

Quick question for those who had a HCA residency interview (and I’m NOT talking about the Hiring Event interviews) and gotten an offer, how long did the recruiter who represent the particular department to contact you about that offer?
