I am going CRAZY! I am so nervous about my NCLEX results! I couldn't sleep last night and I can't eat. I keep on checking on the internet for stats on people passing with 75 questions and then looking up answers of questions I remember. I have come up with 20 that I can remember that I got right. I had a ton of select all that apply and a few drugs that I knew the answer for and a few that I had no clue... Oh the agony. My poor husband and friends are very sick of hearing about this. I hate that they make you wait. I should find out tomorrow morning about my results. I will be so embarrassed to tell my school instructors I failed, I was one their better students...they will be so disappointed in me.
To top it off I just received a job offer this morning. I should be thrilled, but how do I say...by the way I can't start my job until March because I failed the nclex? I am afraid they will revoke my offer and I would love to work at this hospital. I am really not sure how I will survive the next 24 hours! HELP!!!!!

Oh my gosh!!! I can totally relate - I took nclex for RN yesterday and feel the same way. It is driving me crazy and I am driving my family crazy!! I also could not sleep last night and have been surfing the web for the same information. I keeping looking to see if the result is posted yet even though I know it won't be because it has only been 24 hours! Good luck to you - I share your pain and agony. Waiting is so hard. I also had 75 questions - mostly priority, a few select all that apply, infection control, and a couple of calculations. Really I can't remember most of it because it was a blur. I find it hard to believe that test is an accurate reflection of my ability and knowledge. I already accepted a job and will be sooooo embarassed if I have to tell them I failed. Let me know if you pass; I'll keep my fingers crossed!!:icon_roll

Waiting is hard but atleast it is only a couple of days and not months like it used to be or like some countries where it does take months. Good luck :)

This by no means scientific or anything. but when I took it last week i turned off at 75; thinking I failed(very hard questions) I told the receptionist, "well I'll be back in 45 days" and she of course told me that i could have passed,,I just knew I failed but I ask her if she knew what percentage of people that shut down at 75 actually pass, and she said she knew of no statistics but that from her position, that she noticed that when people shut off at 75, she only sees about 30% come back. Granted this is the one test site, but I thought I failed and I passed as did another guy with me who turned off at 75.
so...don't panic, I think you have a better than even chance of passsing
I can't believe it!!!!! I passed!! Oh my gosh!!!! I was sure I had failed; have been crying for 2 days - now I am crying because I can't believe it!!!! Let me know how you make out; I hope you passed too!!
Congratulations to you!!!I guess our worrying was for nothing because I just found out I PASSED too. I printed out the results just so I didn't second guess what I was actually seeing. I can't believe it, I really was thinking I failed!
