I was just wondering if anyone knew of any hospitals in NYC that would pay for nursing school. Thanks so much on advance.

The only thing you might be able to find is tuition reimbursement. Basically, you pay out of pocket and after completion of the courses to the facility's satisfaction, you might get some of that money back. However, there are requirements, typically that one must have been an employee for a certain length of time, in good standing (no disciplinary actions), and agree to work for the facility for a set length of time after the last payment is made. The amount of tuition reimbursement, at least in my area, has been dropping, and no longer covers even 1 course. Heck, my facility now only covers one single school. If you go anywhere else, you can forget about tuition reimbursement.
Schools are pumping out new grads 2-3 times each year. In many areas, there is a surplus of new grads, and facilities no longer need to use tuition reimbursement as a way to attract employees. As for finding a hospital that's just going to pay outright, very very slim chance if any at all.

Those programs have for the most part gone the way of the dinosaur.
