Hi, I just received my ATT, I checked the calendar but to my astonishment, there is no available schedule within the validity of my ATT. I am not prepared for this. May I ask your opinions, suggestions on where should I take the exam. Is it ok to wait for a slot to be made available or I have to change my testing center stat? Which is cheaper, Saipan or Guam? Thank you so much.

HK is always going to be the cheapest. There are always cancellations just a couple of weeks before the exam. It is your choice as to what to do. The other countries do require a visa to enter them.

if you have a u.s visa, take the exam in guam. i think saipan is also fully booked like hongkong. you can try taiwan where i will take my exam this march because i can't get a seat in hongkong.

Thank you so much Suzanne, attyrn, Pacifica. Pacifica, may I ask how to obtain visa in Taiwan? How many days will you wait for it? How much is the total package, and how many days will you stay there? Do you have to pay for the additional 150 dollars?

Do you diligently check the calender-scheduler everyday ? I suggest you do and if you have the time check on it 2-3x a day. Slots have been opening up for late Feb. and some in March. If you do not check on them regularly someone else will take it.
My experience w/ HK is that they almost always open up 2-4/5 weeks before an appointment date or as the date comes nearer as most re-sched.

Good Luck!!
Thank you so much JML. I checked Saipan and April is available so I took it, but I am still hoping to get a slot in Hongkong because I will travel together with my husband and daughter and Saipan is so expensive. Thank you so much, all of you for the help and guidance.
to kiko88, i don't have a taiwan visa yet. i'm still completing my docs. probably next week i can send it to the embassy. i think you can apply as a tourist or you can present your att. it's a non-appearance application to the embassy and they charge P1950. you can get your visa in less than a week. by the way, there are available seats for march 19-20 there.
