  1. wanna try answering 350 practice questions in 7 and a half hours for stamina? it helped me when i took my nclex. passed it the first time 265 q's in 5 hrs 58 secs which means i have an hour and a half to spare as i trained for that number of q's and hours. and when taking the exam, relax, breathe and stay focused.
  2. around 4 weeks and i passed.
  3. Hi Silly Lilly hi everyone. Just want to let you know that for me and for many, it is ok to cry. i hate to admit it but though i am a bit older than you, i still cry. i cry for a lot of reasons too. i cry when i am happy as well when i am sad. i cry when i reach a goal as well as when i fail in some ways. i cry when i'm alone as i also cry in a crowd. i haven't really pondered upon this until your letter and maybe the reason why we cry is because we still can feel. we can feel joy, sadness, anger and so many more. maybe we too are more expressive of our feelings. perhaps, what is important is that we cry for a reason and what we should worry about perhaps is when we cry without it. take care.
  4. but be safe - 50 thousand for 3 days perhaps because you may be lured to go shopping. better ask a travel agent just to be sure. i don't know if rates have gone up.
  5. no shopping, no disney and other extras. 30 thou is quite sufficient for 2 - 3 days.
  6. P150 - 175 thou. there were 3 of us. 5 days inclusive of ocean park and disney, with shopping, fares for the duration of stay, food. etc. homestay near exam site. but, i think P25 thousand - P30 thousand is enough for a 3 days stay. try buda travels near edsa and quezon avenue.
  7. compassion - one must have the heart to care for someone under the worst condition. comon sense - one must be capable of knowing what and what not to do under an actual condition. charisma - one must be able to rightly influence people after consideration of all circumstances in a particular situation.
  8. doh, maternal, pedia, med-surg, and practically all the nursing books you used during your college days. hehehe.
  9. go for the retake of all the exams. you can do it!.....and as the saying goes : "passing is sweeter the second time around!" goodluck!
  10. hello ! i hope these tips will help all those who are going to take the nclex. 1 - Know your basics and specially, know how and when you'll apply them. 2 - When studying "UNDERSTAND" and don't just memorize the topics. 3 - Take practice tests and gradually increase answering questions until you can do 300 to 365 questions in one sitting and if you want to time your session, do the 365 questions in 7 hours and 30 minutes. 4 - Pray! Pray! Pray! whatever your religious beliefs may be. 5 - Focus! Focus! Focus! about what the question is asking. 6 - Breathe! Breathe! Breathe! the brain needs oxygen to function properly.
