  1. Has anybody here heard about FAST (Fatima Advanced Skills Training for Nurses)? I'm planning to attend seminars they offered...
  2. just want to know from different nurses point of views.... thanx for the response, hope to hear more...
  3. Nanel replied to ihya_fixt's topic in International Nursing
speakwell has 1 week program for ielts review... the program covers the 4 parts of ielts (listening, reading, writing & speaking). they have very good instructors and efficient staff. at the end of the program you will have a simulated ielts exams and your performance will be evaluated. the best thing about this center is that you can repeat the whole program unlimited. in addition, they will help you file your application for the ielts, free of charge!
  4. pls. kindly elaborate your answers... thanx!
  5. having an experience will not guarantee you to pass the NCLEX... esp. if that is acquired here in the phil. because it's far different from ideal nursing practice which comprised most of the NCLEX questions. plus, you should have known better if your capacity and ability can pass the exam or NCLEX for that matter. No matter what other people tell you, if you have the will, you can do it! Have you also try to wonder if your CI himself/herslf already passed the exam... because obviously it's the other way around honey!
  6. thanx ms. suzanne! But if i will apply to other states by License by Examination, does is it mean that i have to start from step 1 again?(submitting application, finger printing, license verification, CES, TOR.. etc.) or can i just request the CA-BRN to forward my documents together with the passing result. i hope i'm making sense, im just confused... i really appreciate your advice!
  7. I applied for the CA state board and passed the nclex last jan. My problem is i'm not pretty sure if i can obtain SSN for my license within 3 years time since i'm still here in the Phil., i have no employer yet, and with the retrogression going on. So, im thinking of having it apply for endorsement in other state. In the first place, is it possible for me to do that even i only have the notice of passing? help pls?!
  8. im from OLFU... i passed all the exams already and didn't go through wid those review centers... You have to assess yourself, your areas of weaknesses and strenghts, your attitude and study habits. When taking exams, nothing beats your will to pass, exhaust all means to prepare for it. Preparation + Foundation(how well you learn during college) are critical for you to pass those exams.
