this time it will be more on basic concepts like nursing procedures. Blood transfusion,catheterization,etccc..also focus on drugs in Psychiatric and its therapeutic comunication.

use kaplan,learning extension(ncsbn) and saunders and most importantly dont forget to ask guidance from above.just do your best and God will take the rest.

use triage,stable vs unstable patients,nursing process,ABC's and maslows. in emergency room,implementation first before assessment.when assesing who should see first situations, follow stable vs unstable patients,you have to assess unstable patients first of course.for prioritizations,use ABC's and maslows.pain is not a priority,it is just considered psychosocial,but if you have a MI patient or if the patient is having a severe pain,that makes pain as the priority.always remember nursing process,assessment first before implementation,if the question didn't state any objective data, that's the time you will assess first.

learning extension was fine,it also helps me. the answer choices on their practice question were very tricky just like in nclex. try to enroll on their course,its just 49 dollars for 3 weeks. use that 3 weeks before your exam and be sure to read saunders first and study as well kaplan strategies.best of luck.

what works for me was i attended the class and it helps me a lot from concepts up to strategies,it helps me to think of my answers.it still depends on what type of learner are you,if you think classroom set up wont work for you,then don't bother attend the class.the review book like the course book was just an oultline of the concepts and it's not that comprehensive.so be sure when you read that book,your foundation must be really good coz its just a review book,as in review.

you didn't get at least one new format question?like select all...

i think hard questions are like select all that apply,drag and drop and hot spots.when it comes to prioritizations,im not sure. but,i got lots of priortizations as well.good luck

sorry to hear that,but what i can recommend kaplan trainer,mosby cd,ncsbn exams andsaunders for some concepts.just study the basic concepts like DM,MI etc...Nclex is testing us whether are we safe and effective entry level nurse and they will not give such complicated topics.you should really know them by heart.

ya,i also experienced that this past few days and its really mixed emotions,excited whether you will be an RN and nervous on failing the exam.did you get a lot of select all that apply?

soory to hear that inkbh.i agree with chocolate. use kaplan and saunders in preparation for your next exam.it's ok to feel that way and let it out. but don't be too discouraged, instead take that a s a challenge that you'll do good next time.everytime i was taking the exam,i always said to myself that i should do my best so i won't regret at the end. eventhough i fail,at least i did my best and just do better next time and if i pass that's so much blessing.just be strong inkbh. just continue answering practice questions at home for 45 days and on your 46th day take the exam and the most important thing,pray.

just be patient. since your state is california, i don't think you will get your result fast. it might take week or weeks.

it will stop,but not in 75,if the computer was uncertain it will throw you more questions.since,you were given a lot of hard questions like select all that apply,meds and prioritizations, i think that the computer was already certain that you make it.

i know you will make it. got lots of infection control as well and meds. the most important of the exam was the last part,it will give you a hint whether you did great or not.

i agree with you! nothing beats prayer. i passed on Nclex with the help from God.
