I've recently been accepted to Holy Family's Accelerated Nursing program-- I understand they have just begun their first cohort, so finding information is very difficult and I just want to be informed before I make any sort of decision. Are there any current HFU accelerated nursing students or traditional nursing students who can speak to their experience with the university? I've seen many negative posts but they also seem a bit outdated! Thanks!
Reading all of these comments made me feel so much better about HFU. I received my acceptance letter yesterday for Fall 2016! I only recently decided to change my major from Ultrasound to Nursing. I always thought HFU was a great school and I was on cloud 9 yesterday until I came across the negative reviews. I'm waiting to hear from Gwynedd Mercy; however, they are already on a wait list so I am not sure what my chances are. My third option is Aria, I haven't read many reviews on their program but I'm hoping/assuming HFU or Gwynedd are a better program. Does anyone have any knowledge on that? They work with Penn State Abington, that makes me think the program can't be too bad. Thanks again for all the good feedback, it seems like this resource really helped a lot of unsure acceptees.

I am a student in cohort 3 at HFU and I am enjoying it so far. I was accepted into gwynedd but their tuition was $54,000 which is more than 2x as much as HFU, their program is a few months longer, and they wanted me to take Ochem 1 again as well as nutrition even though I got an A because they wanted it by a dietitian and not a medical doctor. So I ended up picking HFU but I am enjoying my choice so far. The staff is wonder.
Hey Fall 2016 Friends!
I was thinking of creating a Facebook group for us if anyone is interested. I know one of the other cohorts did this, and I thought it was a great idea to kind of touch base before orientation and before the semester starts. It would even be helpful for notes, questions, etc. once we start! If anyone is interested, please let me know! You can e-mail me directly at [email protected] with your personal e-mail that you use for Facebook so I can add you to the group. It won't allow me to create a group without adding someone first.
I look forward to hearing from everyone & to meeting everyone!

Hello I was just wondering about the total cost of the program at HFU? I am thinking about applying for fall 2016-I called today and I still have time as space is still available . I've already been accepted to another school but the cost is outrageous that's why I am now considering HFU. Wondering if you could also let me know how the program has been going so far ? Thanks
How are you liking it so far since you've been in for a bit now ? Just called them today and there is still time for me to apply for fall 2016. Can you tell me about costs for the program start to finish ? I've been accepted to another school but desperately want to save as much Money as possible thanks
Hey mrvazquez, I actually am running into something a bit nerve-wracking about the Nutrition requirement. I applied to HFU's Fall '17 (only two days ago) program, and I had NO clue I had to have my nutrition class taught by a dietician, until I got the confirmation for my application automated email. Nowhere on the site or in the program info. does it say a registered dietician. I'm absolutely heartbroken because if I have to retake it, it'll be an entire semester pushed back (and my third time taking Nutrition UGH). Any clue if they're strict with that? I want to cry! lol

Thank you so much! I really had my mind set on Drexel but I just can't spend an extra $20,000 when I don't have to! Only 35 students in the entire program? Drexel had 150, 50 per class. I would definitely appreciate a smaller class size. I think I've made up my mind- HFU it is! Thanks again!
