I've recently been accepted to Holy Family's Accelerated Nursing program-- I understand they have just begun their first cohort, so finding information is very difficult and I just want to be informed before I make any sort of decision. Are there any current HFU accelerated nursing students or traditional nursing students who can speak to their experience with the university? I've seen many negative posts but they also seem a bit outdated! Thanks!
I applied for hfu ABSN for spring 2018. Can any one tell me what the workload is like and if they are able to work a full time job while attending. I am currently a Respiratory Therapist and work three 12 a week overnight. I want to stay full time because of tuition reimbursement. How many days a week is the program and what are the hours like. Thanks a lot.
nicolef27 have you heard anything? I applied two weeks ago for the Spring '18 cohort (my letter of recommendation just got there though) and I'm curious as to if they've started interviews yet. I know the final deadline is the end of this month.
I also heard it's not really feasible to work full time while in these programs because you're in classes and clinicals much of the time. I could be wrong, but that's what I have been told by many that have completed these type of programs.
Hey, I'm currently getting ready to apply to holly families accelerated nursing program and I just came across this thread. I have the same questions you guys did in 2015. Assuming you guys have graduated. How was the program? Any tips would be great, really scared and don't know what to expect.

Hello everyone, I checked the status of my application for the spring 2018 yesterday and it says Decision Made. I have been trying to contact the school to know the decision that was made. I'm not patient enough to wait for the letter in the mail. Who else saw this?
Where do you see that information? Besides my application itself, everything else was submitted through email. Is there a way to check through their site?
They told me last week that decisions were being issued then and everyone will know why the first week of September at the latest. So we should be hearing any day now.

HFU has had many cohorts for the RN-BSN and MSN program.
Ask your admissions person for a connection to current students to share their experiences with you!
