I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?
Hi guys! I just to give a shout out to all those who are waiting for a seat as alternates. Good luck! I'm guessing since the deadline to accept/decline seats is tomorrow , alternate letters will be coming out soon. For those who do not have a back plan yet I suggest looking into Technical schools as an alternative , Erwin and Brewster tech have decent ratings and are affordable. The LPN to ADN bridge program at HCC is pretty good and both tech schools are approved. I also looked into some community colleges but they either give their students/ residents of that county preference. USF is way too expensive and hard to get into so perhaps for some the Tech schools are a better option.
Anyways Good Luck!!! :)

Hey juliansmom a question for u. When they send the assignments out to our campus, do we pick the day we want for clinicals if we are a afternoon or morning class? Like will they give us a choice for a tuesday or Wednesday?
I second juliansmom. For those that don't get in and can't afford to for the next application period, check out LPN programs. ^_^ That way atleast you can start working on school stuff and get a better resume for HCC application LPN to RN bridge. Good luck to all alternates, I hope you are able to get a seat!
