Thank u ihopeigetit.. im so sorry of the situation, but hang tight and ur dreams will be satisfied. As fpr orientation and papers. Sara is correct. The acceptance of your seat must be turned in my next week thursday and background needs to be done before orientation and takes up to 10 days so I stress to get it done asap. I would hate to have someone lose their seat because of the time frame.

Be sure to keep the confirmation of your background check! They tried to say a person in my current program didn't do hers, but she was able to prove otherwise.

Are you already in a program at HCC? If so are we allowed to have different colored stethoscopes (ex. Pink)?

Hi everyone, I had a couple questions about this packet.

- it says to return the consent form, "informed consent form, and $38 check before the 18th. Is the informed consent form the criminal fingerprinting form or whatever??? Also, it says to bring that form to YBOR, so are we putting it in our packet with the consent form??

- ALSOOO didn't we already pay $50 for a background check??? I'm confused!!!

- Now I'm wondering if the informed consent form is the same as the fingerprint form. Maybe it's not because the pink paper with the checklist has the informed consent under before orientation, and fingerprint form under the after orientation.

the informed consent was a printing mistake so you don't have to turn that in...all you have to turn in either by mail or by hand(drop box-DSTU 119), you only need the confirmation page, with $38 money order or check.....This should be done before 18th, which is the deadline

As for background check, you have to go to ybor campus the public service building and get your fingerprint, this should be done before the orientation and the process takes 10days so go in the next few days and get it done. open from 9 to 3 monday-friday( recheck the paper)...fill out that paper, but don't sign it..I repeat DON't SIGN it until said so..u need an photo id and $50 money order or check-- no cash or card accepted.. and once you done you get a copy keep it and bring it to orientation you don't have to turn this in because they will get a copy..!

Fee paid during application was their fee for processing!

That totally helped! Thank you so much. Why do you say not to sign the background check form??

I don't think I will be able to make it the the YBOR campus till next week, but thank goodness orientation isn't until the end of Oct :))

I started a different one for the fall but I'm switching since I got into the nursing. As far as the color of the stethoscope, I don't know.

I hope we can have colored stethoscopes because I really want the raspberry tubing with rainbow head if I go with the Littmann 2 SE!!!!
