I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?

Everyone seems really quiet. Well my birthday is Sunday, and for my birthday I treated myself to nursing shoes, and my pen light and 2nd hand watch. My fiance got me a stethoscope, its the double tubed one, des anyone know if it matters? He also got me a pink nurses hand bag :)

Happy Birthday!!! I'm hoping to receive our letters by the end of the month as well, however I looked back at last years Spring 2014 forum and they were receiving their letters by the end of September :/ Hopefully we will all be so busy with fall classes, the weeks will fly by :)

Thank u guys! Omg I had so much fun. We went to the cheesecake factory and then me and a few girlfriends went dancing for the night. I def had enough fun for the whole year. I can not hang.. but this is y I only go out on my birthdays lolol. Good nifht everyone. And yes im really hoping to also have our letters soon. Last spring I believe was going through short staffing problems and that is y it took so long also. I would hate for this to happen. But by looking at our docs and seeing how fast eve5ryfhing updated, I would be surprised if it came end September.

I recommend in class, because there is a lot of material. I will inbox u the professor name. She is really good.

Is there anyone who is a current CNA, or trying to be a CNA before the program? Some hospital requires CNA certification to work while some others require finishing the first semester of the nursing program. Does anyone know the tech school like http://tampabaycna.com reliable?? Thanks!

I do not recommend taking microbiology online! I took online micro with j bachellor from dale Mabry and he was terrible! I had 5 times more work to do and he wasn't very nice. I took laroche micro lab at south shore and he was so good! If laroche has an online lecture that's the only way I would take online lecture. Otherwise I find in class easier. Good luck!

Hello to all of you! I am also anxiously waiting for an acceptance letter! I have tried researching reviews about HCC, and the nursing program. Can anyone shed some light on how they feel about his school? Or maybe they have heard about how the program is? I was accepted to Tallahassee Community College's Nursing program, and they have an awesome program, but I'd rather stay in Tampa. Any information would be helpful!

I here great things about HCC program. My friends mom just graduated in may and actually got a job at a hospital. She starts auguat 25th. Im very proud. She says its tough but it's doable. She said study study study.
