I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?

Ok that makes me feel better, I wrote the nursing advisor after 12 yesterday so maybe late monday ill have an answer. And we have almost 7 more weeks left, I really hope they come first week of September and not second week. If they are going in order then looks like they are moving in a timely manner. Which is great

Good morning evedyone! In just 5 to 7 weeks we will know our acceptance. Looks like they are moving fast so im hoping for 1st week of september. The nursing advisor wrote back and asked that I send my student info to her via hawkmail. So I did and crossing my fingers she has my transcripts and that it just wasnt updated with the rest.

I was able to verify via email, they do have my high school transcript. So this is a weight off my shoulder. Thank u to those that gave assurance :)

I recieved more updates to my documents today. I had two Status updated to Recieved from ASAP. They have to be getting close to sending out letters. Hopefully, it is sooner than the 12-15 week timetable. Does any know if they have ever sent out letters before that time? Is there any way to check online or do we just need to be wait for a letter? Thanks everyone.

Is ur college transcript from hcc or from another college. Write the nursing email and have someone tell u whats going on [email protected]

Hi future nurses! I am very excited about this journey that awaits us! Silvach24, thank you for creating this thread, it is super helpful! My documents have also been updated, but my HCC transcripts say waived instead of received, are yours also updated the same way? Also, I will be getting my CPR certification on august 4th at HCC; is anyone planning to be there that day?

Congrats on your updates. What letter does your last name start with? My HCC transcripts also say waived. I don't plan on doing my CPR until I've got accepted.

Hi Yaalisa, my last name start with M. I decided to get my CPR now since I am volunteering at a local hospital, and its also cheap through HCC. I can't wait to get acceptance letter :)

I also have my CPR license and I also am volunteering already at a hospital. Im at brandon hospital. My hcc transcript says waived also. Nothing else has updated since I last checked yesterday.. prerequisite still says ASAP under review and so does the other thing.

And your very welcome. I have been so anxious about applying that I made this group last year December lol. We only have 5 to 7 weeks left untill we find out. And there ws a class I believe a year ago that got their letters the 1st week of September, then there was last semester that didnt get theres untill the last week of September! Eeekkk I would hate to wait that long.

I only have an HCC transcript, so they obviously must have it lol and I put an official one is with my application too
