I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.
What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.
I think I've said this a few times on here, but I absolutely hated Statistics with every single bone in my body. It was the worst class I've taken through two academic careers and I still have nightmares about it. If I had to re-take that class (or something similar), I would definitely need some form of prescription to help me through it.
However, I will say that CHM-1032 is quickly approaching that distinction as well. I can't tell if its the material or how it is being presented.

He is a nice guy. I don't know.. I'm still trying to figure out if its his accent, presentation style, teaching method, or I somehow just don't understand the material. I've never had this problem in other Chemistry classes.

we're all in the same boat. I had to drop a Sat/Sun class that was going to start this weekend at McDill just so i can have more time for CHM1032 class. I know they say dont worry about it because he grades on a BIG curve but i need to understand the material. I think he goes to fast.

I'm taking IBUPROFEN like crazy so I can deal with Stats, LOL
My account summary shows that they have received my $38.00 M.O. , so I guess they have my acceptance letter too, YAY, I know I have been kind of paranoic lately, "what if they don't see my acceptance letter?, what if is missing? what this? what that?" LOL:confused:

Hehe Thanks. I figured now I can actually use it.
They still haven't cashed my check as of yet, but I'm not entirely surprised due to the fact that I just turned it in a few days ago. But -- that's good to know that they are starting to cash the checks out.
Now I can relax...I just checked my account and the $38 check i sent with my acceptance letter was cashed so i know they got it. Still waiting on the $50 check for fingerprints to clear.
