I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.
What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.

I had a really good time last night with family and friends hanging out, drinking, and barbecuing until the drinks and food ran out around 4:30am this morning. It's going to take me a bit to get rid of this hangover but i don't care, I had fun!! It was a GOOD day!!:)

Will do - and of course my mail comes like 3:30-4 lol I don't know what my chances are now that I see people getting alternates due to the number of credits they've taken at HCC, but still trying to have faith!!

I'm sure you'll be fine!!I don't know what your GPA is but if it's competitive you have nothing to worry about. HCC students are given preference in the lower GPA ranges to break a tie. And even then most get in!

Hang in there girl....Im sure you'll be fine. If all goes well we should all meet up Fri or Sat night for a drink. Post as soon as you know anything. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you and Deltacrux.
I got my finger prints done this morning at the Ybor campus and droped off the acceptance letter at the DM campus. Now we wait, AGAIN! I also talked to the person at the Health Science Dept and they confirmed tha the days listed on the orientaion letter is wrong. The correct days for orientation are Thursday/Friday November 21/22.
