Hello all,

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.

What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.

I am at DM campus and we are all meeting tomorrow at 8:00am. First time she said in nursing lab but she never gave a specific room number or building number? Anyone know where we are supposed to meet? Thanks.

The Dale Mabry Nursing Lab is in DTEC on the DM campus in Room 362. However, I am assuming this is the lab she wants us to meet in since it was not specified. This is for the DM AM/PM classes; I am not aware of other campuses.

See everyone in AM/PM DM tomorrow. I'll be the dude looking like the 'Stay Puft' marshmellow man in his scrubs.

PS: I just got confirmation that it is indeed Rm.362 on the 3rd floor.

Have fun in class today those of you going. I just got back and (while overwhelming) feel that I actually can do this. I think I made it out worse than it was -- it was actually quite enjoyable.

PS. jragghianti: I was the guy sitting next to you at our clinical instructor introduction (when we broke into small groups) this AM, and the guy standing in line at registration. I forgot to say "Hello" when I recognized your name on the sheet Karen passed around. I'll correct that mistake tomorrow and say howdy.

Hmmm. Are we supposed to wear scrubs to class?? I thought it was just lab/clinical.

Not to lecture. I think the afternoon class had lab today. N&W just has lecture tonight.

Yup; we had lab and from what I understand all campuses are free from wearing scrubs to lecture.

Rahma, both threads are up, with a couple of comments. I am trying to figure out if you are who I think you are. Did you tell me about this website last Wednesday in the second floor of the Humanities building at the Dale Mabry Campus? We were also discussing among other things my grade in Dr. Scialli's lab.
