I know some of us were discouraged to find out that we didnt get in for Fall. The cut off was the highest theyve ever seen and some were shocked to find out their true pre-req GPA. We have another chance to accomplish our dream of becoming an RN and I am hopeful we will all get in for Spring. Historically it is an easier semester to get into, last GPA cutoff for 2019 Spring was a 3.381 so there is hope. If you dont mind posting GPA and TEAS and when youve submitted the app. Round 2, lets go!

Interesting! I live in Pinellas county and I was able to have them do titers with my blood draw at Pinellas County Health Dept. I just walked in, but the wait was horrendous. It would have been better to go first thing in the morning but I wasn't available until 1 pm and I waited 3 HOURS. But the blood draw was $10 and the titers were $5. My TDaP and flu shot were not super cheap though ?
Does orientation involve walking around the campus from place to place or are we just going to be seated in an auditorium for the the entire time.
Seated in an auditorium. Also the people from the scrubs store will be there and you can order your scrubs, jackets, and get the HCC nursing shirts you can wear to class.

I can’t find anywhere here in Hillsborough that doesn’t charge at least $100 for each titer. I’ll drive to Pinellas to save a few hundred dollars lol. I already have my tdap and flu shot.

I went to the heath department in tarpon springs yesterday. I only paid $5 for each titer. I live in Hillsborough county. Only waited about 10 minutes too.

Who do we have to email our form to that shows we completed our drug screening?
They told us at orientation that we do not need to submit that form. We don’t have to do anything regarding the drug screening, the school will automatically get it from the company’s

That’s a good question. Of course that will play a role in the shoes I wear.
