Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)

I dont have it as "received" for TEAS, but if you go under test summary it will have your TEAS score. That is assuming you took your TEAS at HCC? It was already added to my webadvisor by the time I got home from taking the test

I also don't see any change on my progress towards degree. Under "My Documents" in Webadvisor, does it show anything for TEAS, I only see my military transcripts, previous college and FAFSA stuff. I don't see high school transcripts received either (I know for sure they received them because I am currently a student) but I was more focused on whether the TEAS should be shown as "received"?

Go to test summary on the top right that's where you will see the teas score

Well I applied back in February so maybe that's why ?

OK. For anyone who sent in the application and has noticed any indication of that on their webadvisor, can you let me know? I went ahead and emailed inquiring if my application was received and i got some annoying generic response. Basically saying that it is not their responsibility to let students know that school received the application. That students should have included a self-addressed postcard. That was not indicated on the application before I mailed it.

Having had stuff misplaced by other people before, this is really unsettling to me and I would hate that I did not get a fair chance because my application was misplaced!

My husband was stationed at Mac Dill before. We are in Langley/VA and we are going to retire in Tampa!! Finally I will have two years at the same location and finish my Nursing degree; the past two years we were in South Korea. It has been a hassle! Every time I finally get to complete pre-reqs, matching with the deadline to apply....we move and I have to start it all over again (different schools, different pre-reqs) nether less to say... I have more pre-reqs than I can count! lol

Is it your first time going to Mac Dill?

I have transcripts being sent to HCC from 4 different schools (including a CLAP). I just want it to be DONE (sigh)

I am afraid I won't pass the TEAS.

I don't think anyone should worry as of yet. I physically went and handed mine in on Thursday and nothing so far under My Documents or progress towards degree. There was a flyer they had there that said how long everything takes. I am going to have my fiance send me a picture of it and I will post the info. Based on the previous boards for HCC applicants, it appears that it can take awhile for the nursing application to show under my documents.

You will do just fine on your TEAS! I actually got all my pre-reqs done and accepted into a program before my husband dropped the bomb on me that he got orders to PCS. I was sooooo upset! It will be our first time to MacDill but we are both from FL

"Your documents are not showing in your web advisor? Do not panic! It means we have not started to process and evaluate them. Your webadvisor is showing an ASAP or Not Received message? It means that we started to process your application. They are in progress."

So if you see "Not Received" then it actually means they received it LOL.. :laugh:

That is accurate. Mine did not change to "received" until the same day I got my acceptance packet. Not sure why, but they ended up calling me and emailing the packet, instead of mailing it regularly. I know that the wait sucks, I've been there. The only thing I can tell you is, visit with family, share time with them, go places, call them, email them, because before you know it, your focus will be shifted, and that will be for a full two years, for most. So try and take advantage of the time you have now.
