Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)

My current GPA is 3.8 but I am currently taking College Algebra and Intro to Sociology, I know for sure I will receive an A in Sociology lol. Either an A or B in College Algebra! I hope you are all doing well!!

Yes, they look at prereq GPA unless there is a tie breaker.

oh i know i just wanted to make sure i listed the right one for our group gpa list.

i have another question maybe you could answer for me please. on the application it says you can apply before finishing your prereqs as long as they are completed by the deadline and you receive a C or higher. does that mean that they use your gpa at the time you apply and than just make sure you pass the remainder or do you wait to see your full gpa at the end?

They will most likely count your overall GPA to make it fair for all other applicants.

I have heard a lot of different areas based on what campus you are at. They try to make it close to the campus but I have heard that everyone has to go to T Gen at some point

I see y'all already applied to the program. I am taking my TEAS this Friday and will apply once I have the results. Am I late or missing any deadline?

My GPA is 4.0 but my Teas only 64% I didn't finish the reading section before the time up. I only did half of the question. English is not my first or second language. English is my third language. I am slow reading ;(.I really want to get in the Dale Mabry campus morning class because it closed to my place and the plant city is the second choice. I think I need to apply other colleges too. Are you applying somewhere else too besides HCC this fall 2017 ?

I am also applying to Pasco-Hernando and English is my 3rd language as well!

No you aren't missing the deadline. It's in May. Good luck on the TEAS! Where do you get to take them on a Friday? I tried to schedule for a Friday and couldn't find an HCC location that does it on Friday

Just took my TEAS today! I got 81, thank God! I am really nervous for the application though, my GPA is 3.43, hopefully it will be enough!
