Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

Published

Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)

The name of the app is NCLEX Mastery

Okay I will check on it. Thank you very much :)

Don't worry about it being accepted just yet. It's still super early and they upload most in may and more after the deadline. If you dropped in the box at the DM campus, you'll be ok.

They don't mean to be short and generic but you can imagine how many emails they receive each application cycle. :)

The wait is truly the hardest.

Is this for fall? I got my acceptance in april, this of course was in 2015. We had a deadline of Jan 10th i think, for the fall.

I am also applying to Pasco-Hernando and English is my 3rd language as well!

Do you already have foreign language in H.S or 8 credits? I just noticed that if I need to apply for BSN at USF after finish ADN. I need to have that.

I CLEP in Spanish and got 8 credits (it won't count towards your GPA though); and yes, you will have to meet the foreign language requirement for a Bachelors.

I have already an A.A and Bachelors in Sciences/Allied Health.

:notworthy: It is just like a never ending story.....

Why don't you check which languages are available for the CLEP exam? maybe you can find your own first language! My first language is Portuguese, hence why I chose Spanish!! lololol :roflmao:

I wish I can speak Spanish like you do. I looked up at HCC foreign language at HCC and there are only 4 languages in the list: FRE , GER, ITA,or SPN. Is it Spanish difficult? Is it a lot of writing?

I am guessing you are originally from Thailand (your username)- which by the way is one of my favorite places in Earth!! - so, yes, Spanish could be more difficult for you, since is a language that has its roots in Latin. For me, it was easy because it is VERY similar to Portuguese. I learned French as my second language (and Spanish as a third), so I guess is really up to an individual experience...

I couldn't learn your native language in an entire existence!! it is just too different for me!

But... you should give it a try! someone mentioned an app named "duoling" and I second that. My daughter and husband are learning Portuguese with that app.
