It can be any color (mines burgandy - thats ehy i asked), but Katie, remember they said they had some already for SS (not sure if the other campuses). You will also need a watch with second hand, penlight, and bandage scissors.

Oh poo, I remember Lee telling me that. It's okay to still get my own though, right? I've been eyeing one for a while now lol. I have to go on the hunt for a watch. I don't wear one. I hate them to be honest. And I'm picky. Boy, this will be a challenge lol good thing we have another month to go!!

Congrats to all those that got accepted with the Brandon hospital. I'm very excited for u, and I'm glad that lonnnnnnng wait is finally over. I'm currently overseas and I don't have access to my cell phone. I received an email from a lady from WIA today telling me to schedule an appointment with her ASAP. I don't know if that means I'm one of the chosen ones or what. I won't be coming back til a month from now, so I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? Please help.

I'm a creeper, I've been following this blog for a while now and have found some very helpful info. So, thanks to you repeat posters!

One question though, should we be able to log into Blackboard? I'm in the Plant City day cohort & I think something is wrong with my blackboard account. I thought at orientation it was mentioned that our instructors would communicate to us via Blackboard.

Hey Melf12,

I asked the people at HCC Help Live because I was not able to login to my Blackboard neither and they had to activate it for me. But they also told me that we will not be able to access our Fall classes on blackboard until the first week of school. Right now I still have classes from Spring '12 and Fall '11 still posted up there, so yea, they def need to update it! Try asking HCC live or call HCC (I used HCC live) to have them fix your account for you.

For now, our instructors are communicating to us through our emails

Mtaleb: call her back, and explain the situation and see if you can send them everything via email. This is just to do paperwork, so hopefully they will allow that. They only had a list of 12 to call back; so if you were called, you're in!

i believe so. it is for the people who could not make it to the 2 day orientation. they get all the info crammed into 1 day! :)

Yes the one day is for those of us that could not be at the original orientation. I am not sure if it is open to everyone because of the limited size and time. To be at the orientation I believe you would have had to contact them prior to the original orientation to be put on the list.

Hi All! I'm in PC nights/we cohort. Waiting to get back the results from my titers and checking fin aid every day, several times a day, to see if they issued me an award letter (not yet). I haven't done any reading, or bought uniforms (see previous sentence...). Still just nervous energy until I get a few more items checked off of my to-do list.

Just curious, but does anyone know how the cert profile site works as far as shot records? I mean, do we submit the physician's checklist and they fill in the rest?

Something doesn't add up here. I called Patrick today (VP of HR at BRH), and he said they still haven't made a decision on who the 12 people are. I told him that a few people were called by WIA to do paperwork, and he said nothing is official yet. It's a bit confusing!!! I gave him my email, and he said he would get back with me. I still haven't heard nothing from him yet.
