What company do we order our badge/ids from?

I ordered my titers test for chicken pox from that place you had suggested. I just ordered yesterday before the end of the business day so I should be receiving that form they send you today sometime. The process seems fairly simple so far. I called the minute clinic and they do not do the titers or the chicken pox vaccine there. Everything else you can do at the minute clinic;physical,TB, hep B (if you are doing that one), and Dtap. The only one that is covered under insurance is the Dtap vaccine. At least that's how my insurance is set up. If I have to get the chicken pox vaccine...does anybody know where you can get that done. The pinellas health department in CW is closed for renovations. So don't wast your time going there.

I don't know where you live, but i got my chicken pox titer done at the florida hospital occupational health for $20.00 the turn around time was like 72hrs and mine was positive.

The one day orientation is at DM in the Tech bld room 301 on July 26th at 8am (Next Thursday).

Is it open for everyone? I would love to go and hear what they have to offer

I wanted to let everyone know that the WIA people made calls to the 12 people selected for the Brandon sponsorship today. I know of myself and 2 others that got calls and went in for paperwork. I don't know what's next as far as campus assignments go, but for the "homeless" ones, the wait is almost over.

On a related note... Squee! I am so excited, congrats to those that got it.

On another, related note, the gal I talked to told me that the folks that didn't get this deal, they may still be eligible for WIA. Their new year started July 1, and they haven't gotten funds yet. She suggested calling each week to see when they are in and you can continue with he process.

Congrats to those that got in!

Did anyone receive orientation powerpoints? I emailed LO and she said she did email it to everyone but she noticed that my email was not in the list of people she sent it to. Was wondering if anyone else got the orientation powerpoints email or any email I might of not received??

Hey does anyone know if there is a specific color our stethoscope has to be? or if it cant be? Also if there is anything else we need to purchase besides that and the scrubs? THanks

I wondered that myself. They have all sorts of snazzy colors! Unfortunately, I don't know the answer. :( I'm hoping it's whatever we want.

It can be any color (mines burgandy - thats ehy i asked), but Katie, remember they said they had some already for SS (not sure if the other campuses). You will also need a watch with second hand, penlight, and bandage scissors.
