Hello all HCC Fall 2011 hopefuls! I have been following the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 threads and thought maybe it was time to start Fall 2011 now that the application process has started.
I just turned my application in this past week and received my confirmation notice in the mail. Anyone else out there that has turned in their application?
What are your plans over the next 8 months to prepare for the first semester (provided we get in)?
Please confirm Eyoung, i believe the orientation is scheduled for tomorrow and wednesday (June 21 and June 22)from 9am until 4pm. I don't know if i have to worry, HCC still hasn't cashed my $ 35 dollars background checks. Where exactly at Dale Mabry? Is it at the Gymnasium?
I too was wondering on what else to bring and where it is... but I do know it actually starts at 8:30 not 9 on tuesday and wednesday.

No, mf said orientation start at 8:30 at auditorium services. Pass it around if you know somebody coming at 9
Clemso, the orientation is tomorrow, but it starts at 8:30 (that's the time that has been stated on this forum). I'll probably get there closer to 8 just because I am a freak. The 35 is for the drug test, which we haven't done yet. Not sure why your check wasn't cashed, but i wouldn't worry about it. Give them a call or email. Orientation is at the Dale Mabry campus at the student services auditorium. Hope this helps!!!
This may be a dumb question but, for some reason, I had imagined all along that the Plant City students would be going to orientation in Plant City. Are all students going to Dale Mabry campus for orientation regardless of their school location?

yes all students go to dale mabry for the orientation. I also have an odd question.. Student Services auditorium, that is in the student services building correct. Where financial aid and everything is right. I feel dumb for asking that. haha

I am kind like mad with myself on that Orientation, I was the only and another girl who couldn't do the drug test on the first day due to unable to urinate. The general Nurse Manager had to call my name and that girl right before we go to Lunch on Tuesday. Now, i have to go on thursday to do it. I'm currently taking Antibiotics, maybe that's them that makes me unable to urinate whenever i want.
