Hello all HCC Fall 2011 hopefuls! I have been following the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 threads and thought maybe it was time to start Fall 2011 now that the application process has started.
I just turned my application in this past week and received my confirmation notice in the mail. Anyone else out there that has turned in their application?
What are your plans over the next 8 months to prepare for the first semester (provided we get in)?
how would I know which post office to go to to check if the letter is there?
I just went to the post office that was closest to my house and they had my mail. Wasn't able to do so this morning, nor did I want to, so I'm just going to wait for my denial to be delivered by my mail carrier! Blah!

I don't know if I would go now! What time is your mail usually delivered? You mail carrier might have left on his route already. The only reason I went is because my mail isn't delivered until around 4, so I knew my mail carrier left late.
Anyways, in regards to hope, everything works out for the best and I honestly thing MTI is a smarter decision for me at this time. Don't get me wrong, I'll be overjoyed if accepted to HCC, but I know I'll be fine if not.

Shamanai, I probably wouldn't go, because even when I went to the PO around 9ish, they would say "I'll have to see if your carrier has left yet or not." You only have about 2 hours and you know you're totally safe! Congrats ahead of time. :)
OMG!!!!!! My mail ran already and still NO LETTER!!!!! I have no clue what is going on but this is ridiculous!!!!! I got another piece of mail from HCC for an awards ceremony that was postmarked by the postal service on Monday!!!! Why in the heck wouldn't I have one that was supposedly mailed last Thursday????

OMG you're kidding!!! I wasn't able to catch up with the mail carrier (LONG STORY) but I'm going to have to wait til about 2 or 3... I'm leaving here at 1:50 and camping in front of my parents house until it gets there. Hopeully they do't bring it in because if they do... I'll have to wait until about 6ish :eek:!!
