hello! i just joined this lovely and informative site after lurking for a few weeks. i'm planning to apply for the program after this fall semester. (need to finish a&pII and college algebra).
who else?! :)
edit: can someone walk me through the application process? i know it's pretty easy, but i like knowing 100%! i'm not sure if an adviser would help me much. i know you need high school transcripts, an hcc application and a nursing application. then you just gather all the papers (including money?) in like a.... manila envelope and mail away? or can you electronically send your high school transcripts to them? thank you.
hey everyone! got my books (finally) but they didn't have the well elderly books and they didn't couldn't find the patches. considering i had to fight five pm traffic and it took me one hour to get to the school i am far from amused about having to return to dm in the next two days but, it's all for the greater good right? eh...on the very bright side, according to the syllabus it looks like the PC night and weekenders will have TGH and UCH Carrollwood as options for Clinical Sites! I am ECSTATIC about not having to drive to Lakeland Regional or South Florida Baptist every Saturday morning at the crack of dawn :)!!!!!
ceedee i didn't get the supplemental books yet either. not really sure what to do about that since i literally only have time to purchase my books once more before school starts. eh...what do you think of emailing Mrs. Crews to see what she recommends? i'll be the guinea pig (i'm notorius for asking loads of questions so she may as well get used to it, lol).
Hey does any one know if the nursing student policy manual can be found online or if thats something we need to buy?? also does anyone know what equipment we need for our first day of clinical like a stethescope or a pen light and what side the little hcc patch goes on our uniforms lol, thanks

I had Mrs Crews too & she was a great help. Don't be afraid to ask her questions because she's more than willing to help.
