hello! i just joined this lovely and informative site after lurking for a few weeks. i'm planning to apply for the program after this fall semester. (need to finish a&pII and college algebra).
who else?! :)
edit: can someone walk me through the application process? i know it's pretty easy, but i like knowing 100%! i'm not sure if an adviser would help me much. i know you need high school transcripts, an hcc application and a nursing application. then you just gather all the papers (including money?) in like a.... manila envelope and mail away? or can you electronically send your high school transcripts to them? thank you.
Hey there,
Just wanted to update you all on the "Edge Information" situation. They DID refund my money fairly promptly, so it is all settled.
Hope you are all doing well. Has anyone started studying??? I have been completely distracted with a fitness goal that I established for myself. I DO try to look over the Clinical Calculations book when I am waiting in the car line at school...that's about it for now.
We had talked about getting together after we received our letters...is anyone still interested in doing that?
Take care guys!!
:)
Has anyone received their campus assignments yet? They said it would be a few weeks and I know they were on spring break last week but wasn't sure. Also I saw some people saying they are already studying, does it matter what edition of the books we get (ie if it says ed 5 we can get 4 and be okay?) Thanks!
I didn't buy the bundle but wish I had. Now i'm doing it piece by piece and it's driving me nuts - not sure it's even going to save me money in the long run. However, one thing that I'm so glad i bough is "all-in-one care planning resource" so worth the money when you're writing care plans and nursing diagnosis papers all the time. Also buy the NCLEX review with questions book from Saunders. The Made Incredibly Easy series rocks if you have problems with Fluids and Electrolytes and other areas.
HTH! :-)
I saw some people talking about starting to study, mainly in the Dosage Calculations book and wanted to share a website you might find helpful. I don't have the book so don't know if it is the same but if anything you can look at it instead of buy the book for now. http://www.dosagehelp.com/
