HESI exit test takers.......

Has anyone recently taken the exit HESI-RN?

If so, please share your thoughts about the exam. What did you use to prepare and how long did you study?

What was the score set by your SON to deem passing? Did you do the HESI live review course. If so, what did you think about it.

I have read every HESI thread that exists on here and most threads are old.

Also, who else is soon to take it? Lets encourage each other. ;)

Any advice/tips is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Jessy:balloons:

I actually read the hesi book from front to back also i made flashcards of the boxes too..... practice question from saunders question and answer... i made a 1020... wasnt that hard ...trust me NCLEX is much harder........

I'll be taking it November. We're being forced against our will to take a Kaplan course that's gonna cost $300+ to help us prepare for HESI (and NCLEX I guess). I think we need a 900 (not really sure yet). I've used the HESI book and Saunders for previous HESIs (Fundamentals, Pharm, Psych, Med-Surg)

Thank you for sharing Crystal. I hope I have your luck next week!!;)

My score was 1052. I used the Saunders 3rd edition, blue book with CD, nothing else. A 900 was required to graduate.

I took the Kaplan review and I don't know what to say about it. Not sure I'd recommend it other than buying the book. We did nothing many questions.

I'm saying a quick prayer for you right now, but you gotta promise to say a prayer for me when I take it on November 30th;)

I had to take it also my advice.....read the HESI book & know the special tips it has. I hated the HESI! I thought the NCLEX was sooooo much eaiser. Good luck to you!

Hello to all you future RN's ... Yes I said it because it is by faith you are already;). I have to take the Hesi 9/8/07... What I would recommend is that you read the saunder's book from the front to back and review you fundamental material, Medical Surg, and go back over IV Heparin, gtt/ml, If you review that information in particular you will do find... At least that was what I was told.... But it is a known Fact that prayer changes things, and there is nothing too hard for God... All things work together for the good of those who love the lord and who are called according to HIS purpose not your own but his... Stay encourage and may God Bless....:yelclap::mortarboard::yelclap::mortarboard:

Amen to that. I will pray for you on the 8th as well. I am confident I could do this and if I don't, then I will try even harder the second time around.
