HESI Exit-RN Test
I would like to encourage all of the Hesi takers, Hesi is strictly a tool that schools use as an indicator of your success on the NCLEX. I completed an entire nursing program, they allowed us 3 times to take this exam, the score that they wanted was a 850... On my last try I made a 837. I was dismissed from the school and had the start all over somewhere else. By the time I was done with that school I was completely drained financially, mentally, and physically. But I didnt give up all thanks to the almighty God and his Son Jesus Christ for giving me the strength to continue. With a lot of hard work and dedication I went to another school completed that program, passed Hesi, and the NCLEX on the first try and now I have my BSN in nursing and I am forever greatful to the most high God for allowing and giving me strength to never give up. Nursing school will either make are brake you and it made me and I am loving the career that I have choosen. Best wishes to each of you.

HESI exam
I am not sure who this story would be for, but I do hope it inspire all who reads it because it is my true story. As early as I could remember I have always had a dream of becoming a nurse. So I began to embark on my dream back in 2002 and started taking my pre requisits @ the community college where I am from. During this time I maintain my fulltime job, and went to school @ night and yes I am a single parent... so dont let anyone tell you, that just because you are a single parent.. you cant make it because that is a total false. So I finish all of my pre requisits and started the nursing program. I am a very spiritual person so I began to pray about whether or not I should continue to work full time and go to nursing school, because I knew nursing school was very challenging from listening to others, but I just did not no how much challenging it would really be.. So i decided to quit my full time job with the government and go to nursing school full time.. So here I go.. I started the program in fall 2005.. I had complete the entire program... 2 1/2 years of pure hell, tears, sleepless nights, tedious hours of study, living off of what ever loan money that was left after tution, robbing peter to pay paul.. just pure hell.. $18,000.. worth of debt.. and because I did not pass the exit exam Hesi.. with an 850 I was dismiss from the entire program..( oh and by the way I made a 839). Still owe student loans, no degree.. just a bunch of unpleasant memories.. Yet I knew in my heart I am a nurse.. So with much prayer and my faith in God and special friends and family.. I was able to move on... So I decided I would try it a different way.. I am here to tell you that a delay is not a denial.. So I went to an LPN program.. and guess what you had to pass the Hesi.. with an 850 at this school also.. So I prayed about it.. And God spoke to my spirit to continue my education.. so I did not let that discourage me .. I went... and guess what.. I pass that hesi with the highes score in my class.. 989... Yeah.. Thank you Jesus.. And I will began the LPN bridge @ the community college in Jan. 2011.. So I just want to encourage anyone having trouble with that Hesi.. Stay encourage.. try and stay as clam as possible because anixety play a part in unsuccessful pass rate.. and shoot for the stars.. even if you land on the moon.. A delay is not a denial.. May God bless you.. Jeanette

Just took Hesi
The hesi test is like no other test you have taken, neither is it like any test you will take, and this include state boards. The advise I can give you is to stay focused, and relaxed. You have just completed an entire program, you know the stuff, even if the question seems strange and it will, just focus. Think about it, you have done tones of questions; you have studied endlessly, Now take that HESI by force let Hesi know that you mean business. Go over your systems and disease process for each system, make sure you reivew fundies, its a lot of fundies on the hesi and you cant diffirentiate between fundies and med surg. Make sure you have a clear understanding of dosage calulation. It was a question on the hesi I took about gallstones and what foods to avoid, well the answer was milk shake. You had to know that with gallstones you suspose to avoid milk products. The test is crazy but doable, Get the saunders book. May GOD Bless you.

Hesi Passed!!!!
Hello Nurses as well as future Nurses, Well here is my story and I hope that this information may enlighten as well as encourage its readers. I attended Lutheran School of Nursing in st louis missouri the only dipolma school left in this entire state. I went through pure hell to complete the entire program. At Lutheran they require that you make an 850 on the Hesi.. Well I took the hesi for the final time and I got a 839... I was dismiss from the entire program..I was completely devasted.. $18,000 of debt, 2 1/2 years of major sacrifices as well as mental and physcial torment I am convinced that not only am I suppose to be a nurse I am going to be a wonderful nurse. Lutheran School of Nursing did not make me who I am today but it certainly made me a better person and a stronger person in the Lord Jesus Christ... Because I know for a fact that if it had not been for my heavnly father I would not have the strength or courage to boot up and continue on with my education... I am currently attending the community college where next year I will graduate and become the Nurse that God almighty has called me to be. I hope this message would encourage all those who read it... Never ever let anyone or any situation keep you from making your dreams come true... Thanks for all the listening ears .. And may God Bless you all to be the best nurses ever..... Jean Buck

Hesi Exit Test
That Hesi Test is all about the money... And these nursing institutuions that utilizes the Hesi are only thinking about there pass rates and not the students... It is all about Hesi making there money and the school keeping there accrediations... I feel if any body have successfully completed an entire program weather they pass that Hesi are not they should be able to set for boards and nine x's out of ten they will pass......... Angry Student

Hessi Exam
I just graduated from nursing school and we have to take the hesi and get 850 are better. My suggestion to you is to study the saunders from front to back... Once you have went back over all your material.. such as each med surg system, go back over your fundies, Go back over MAth IV Heprin Drip,.. And than start answering questions from everywhere.. Because the Hesi aint like no other test... They ask questions and the answer that they are looking for is on one hand knowledge and on the other hand its something out of the norm. So just study everything because you just don't no what would be on the test. .. If you have an Hesi book .. Go back over the disk.. And as I said earlier just start answering questions everywhere..... May God Bless...

HESI exit test takers.......
Hello to all you future RN's ... Yes I said it because it is by faith you are already;). I have to take the Hesi 9/8/07... What I would recommend is that you read the saunder's book from the front to back and review you fundamental material, Medical Surg, and go back over IV Heparin, gtt/ml, If you review that information in particular you will do find... At least that was what I was told.... But it is a known Fact that prayer changes things, and there is nothing too hard for God... All things work together for the good of those who love the lord and who are called according to HIS purpose not your own but his... Stay encourage and may God Bless....:yelclap::mortarboard::yelclap::mortarboard:

Question about Hesi exit exam
Hello! First I want to tell you that all things are possible with Jesus. I am in my last four months of nursing school and if it had not been for the lord who was on my side I would not be here. I purchase the Hesi book and at first it did not help me at all. But as I got further along in the program the information started making sense. What I was told by my friend is when it is time to start studying for that exit Hesi go back over all your systems and know the disease process like the back of your hand and after you have done that start answering your nclex questions. Also go online to Kaplan.com and see if they are offering the review class in your town and attend it . I am going this summer the class is very expensive but with the lords help if it will get me through that Hesi passing it on the first time it is worth it. May the Lord bless and Good Luck.

3 weeks into nsg program, he wants to quit...
Nursing School is very challenging yet it is doable. Take your time and study, study, study and when you get some rest guess what study some more. Because there is light at the end of the nursing tunnell. And with the help from the Lord above all things are possible.
