Hey Nam123 how are you? Are you ready for yours? Email me if you need anyhelp.

I just took the HESI on Friday, July 23.

Math: pretty simple. Know the Roman Numerals. Especially 5, 10, and fractions and ratios

Bio: Pretty general

A&P: Heart questions. Overall pretty general.

Sorry I cannot remember any specific questions

I scored a 91 cummulative

830 Critical Thinking

I used the study guide from the HESI website. I rented it from Chegg.com for $25.

CONGRATSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS CLMOORE

YAY!!!! how exciting... I am about to take my test in 2 weeks...pray for me.. what was the A&P part like? when you say the AP was pretty general what do you mean?

Anyone who has taken the HESI: I'm wondering if the grammar section asks you to identify the adverb, pronoun, adjective etc. in the sentence OR if it just asks you to correct a sentence w/ a mistake in it like in the HESI review book? Or both? I would really appreciate it if anyone has an answer!

Hello everyone!

I have to take the HESI A2 on Saturday...and I am deathly afraid of the A and P section. Does UTHSC want a cumulative above 75% or 75% on each section. I realize that 75% will not get me in, but I was hoping that my math and reading would offset the a and p...although I'm still studying for it. I'm very nervous about the a and p section, and am not sure where to put my focus. Is cell makeup and organelles on it, or is that in the Biology section we don't need to take. Thanks so much for any advice!!

We dont have to take Biology. YAY!!!! you will do fine just believe in yourself and if something goes wrong then tell your best you tried your best.

Congrats and good luck to everyone!!

I am also applying to UTHSC for Spring 2011! I am super nervous about getting in! I have a BS in Biology already, so my science GPA is a 3.5 and my prereq is a 3.5 as well!

I took my HESI A2 back in June and got

1. English Language Composite Score 88.99%

2. Anatomy & Physiology 88.00%

3. Math 90.00%

Cumulative: 88.99%

Critical Thinking: 820

...hope its enough to get in!

everpark: they want a 75% on all sections as well as overall and a 750 on critical thinking

Thanks Kap87 and Nam123. I'll just study all the basics of a & p, if there are any basics, and see what happens. I took the TEAS V a few weeks ago and didn't do so hot on the a & p section...however, I heard it was harder than the HESI.

I haven't taken the test yet... but from what I can tell I think those are good scores! You should be fine as long as you have decent grades in your pre-reqs. I'm also applying there... but I'm taking my test in 2 weeks. I was wondering if you don't mind... if you could tell me how you studied? I'm a little worried about the Science section. I know A&P, but some of the basic biology questions just don't get the best of me! Thank you!

If you're talking about UTHSC-Houston... they do require a biology subject--- the A&P section.
