They may require the sciences to be counted for a % because they require the chm & ap1 to be finished prior to application.
I liked the HESI A2 wayyy better than the NET. It was more applicable I felt toward the educational expectations of a nursing student, based on the topics covered in the test and the style of the test. Plus the HESI has a calculator!
You can purchase it online or at a book store. I just sold my copy to someone. It is the called the
Evolve Reach Admission Assessment Exam Review-by HESI
I found it on amazon.com or on halfbook.com which is part of ebay. Otherwise I think it is about 30 dollars at the bookstore. It has all the of the subjects that you need to study in the book. It is not thebest study guide, but it helps.
akadimkz,
Hello.
I tried to reply to your PM but I am not allowed to for some reason.
To answer your question, No, I couln't take it before the 60 days. They did specifically check and actually counted the days when I went in the second time.
I understand the frustration your feeling with the test conversion !
If you can find the NET offerered elsewhere, MCCCD will accept those scores. It may cost a little more though.
I wish you the best of luck with whatever test you take next.
:)
I checked Maricopa Nursing Dep. website today. In new newsletter, I found that they mention HESI A2. To pass the test, I should get more than 75% of English and Math. What content is covered in English?
Here are some information that I found.
Does the test will cover science part, too?
Thanks in advantage!

Hey so I took the NET and I like totally bombed the test as far as the math part goes. I ran out of time in the math portion of the test. I was so mad and frustrated that I could have cried. So the procter tells me that I can retake the test in 60 days and I said that I was told that Maricopa will be discontinuing the NET and going with the HESI A2 for the entrance exam into school. So I know this to be true, but my question is if anybody knows what section of the HESI A2 is going to be required to have a passing score. Is it just the reading and vocaburlary and math or is it the sciences too that we will have to pass also? Please somebody let me know. Thankyou
