HESI A2 for Maricopa Community Colleges???

Hey so I took the NET and I like totally bombed the test as far as the math part goes. I ran out of time in the math portion of the test. I was so mad and frustrated that I could have cried. So the procter tells me that I can retake the test in 60 days and I said that I was told that Maricopa will be discontinuing the NET and going with the HESI A2 for the entrance exam into school. So I know this to be true, but my question is if anybody knows what section of the HESI A2 is going to be required to have a passing score. Is it just the reading and vocaburlary and math or is it the sciences too that we will have to pass also? Please somebody let me know. Thankyou

You can also purchase many of these study guides on ebay. Just type in the title and search around. I know when I took the NET a few years ago I bought my study guide on ebay for $10 and then sold it on ebay for $20. Good luck!

I'm planning on taking my test in May after I am finished with A & P. I also checked on Ebay for the study guide but the ones on there were $30 plus $3.99 shipping. Amazon had FREE shipping! Your best bet is to shop around. SOmetimes you can get a better deal at Half.com (by Ebay).

Hi all,

Scottsdale Community College library purchased 3 copies of the HESI A2 study guide. They are available for 2 hour in library use only. I suspect that most of the other College libraries are also in the process of obtaining these.

Same here Im a new user cannot pm. but I am bout to take it I bought the study guide. evolve reach admission assessment review, I was wondering if it was helpful. Already used it, was wondering if anyone knew where i can find a link for the hesi a2 study guide.

I am also preparing for the exam and thinking to take the exam in about 2 weeks.

I am actually getting low scores on reading and vocabulary.How can I improve this,do we get the same questions as in the study guide.

I am getting ready to take the HESI at Glendale Community College at the end of this month. I know for sure that the sections that are requiring for the HESI a2 are vocab, grammar, math and critical reading. In order to get accepted you need to score 75% in math section, and 75 % in the (reading section+ grammar+ vocab= 75%) also I know that you need to wait 60 days to retake it if one fails, also one is allowed to take it three times a year. Regarding the Net test, it is not accepted as an entrance exam in all Maricopa County at all. So, whoever said that if you take the NET somewhere else and bring the score to Maricopa colleges is wrong so do not waste your time to study for the net. As a good Study guide the Evolve Admission Assessment 2ND edition.

The exams started only in mid February at Maricopa Colleges.

Hey FYI everyone applying in May have to apply by May 28th because the 31st is a holiday. This is if you want a June time stamp. The HESI will not be avaliable the week of exams and week after exams. That's what I was told by the nursing advisor at PVCC. Everyone Good Luck GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!
