Here's a well, funny, story.

Hi everyone!

My name is Serena and I am trying not to go insane. I took the nclex-rn for the second time on Thursday October 16th and am still waiting for some results. I live in the small wonder called Delaware where results are usually posted within 2-3 days.

So yesterday would have been the day I would have known. Nothing.

I called my BON and this nice man told me this crap lie that the "nclex land" people only send Delaware the scores every Thursday. haha Nice try so that I wouldn't call back until Thursday. However, I wasn't so convinced.

I called back today and got the same gentleman. This time I was agrressive and told him kindly that my job is on the line right now and I need my score. He read me this e-mail that they were forwarded from Pearson Vue explaining that the system is currently down and it's a widespread problem they are working on and other states are also being affected. What?!?

So... has anyone heard of such a thing? Does pearson do this often? Is anyone else in another state having the same problem right now?

Please continue to pray for me. I am trying my best to keep the faith throughout the bumps in the road. This whole situation just seems crazy to me? Who knows?!

Cant you just pay the 10.00 to Pearson Vue and get the pass or fail results? I know a classmate of mine her "case worker" for the state was out sick and her results did not get posted on our states lic page for well over a week, but she could log onto pearson vue to see that she did in fact pass, she just didnt have a lic number.

Thanks for the advice but, unfortunately, Delaware isn't one of the many states that has 'quick results'. I can only find out through my board of nursing. :banghead:

Oh that sucks---the anticipation is worse than the actual test....I was lucky enough to find out in less than 24 hours. You know the statisitics say you have greater than an 85% chance of passing. Easy for me to sit here and tell you that I know...

Take a long walk then come home and have a big glass of wine maybe two!!! You will find out soon enough!

That sounds frustrating. Waiting till Thursday sure seems better than waiting a week or two though. :hngon:HANG IN THERE!

Good luck I saw something on the pearson view site like 3-4 days ago that they were going to be done for two days, but it said that it would affect scheduling exams

My state participates in quick results. So the states lic web site will have your lic number up as soon as they find out through Pearson Vue. I have had friends find out with in 4 hours of leaving the testing center.

My lic was posted at 0800 the day after my exam.

Wow...that's crazy...how long do u have to wait? I haven't heard anyone taking the jersey one yet..but it takes us 2 days on the computer. well until this "problem" gets solved i hope its worth the wait and u find out ur an RN!!!
