I hope that someone can help me...I need to get flashcards for A&P but I have no idea which ones I should get!? We are being tested on the bones and muscles. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated!

What textbook are you using? My A&P book has a website that cooresponds to the chapters it has learning activites and flashcards on the site, which I have found helpful. Also Costco has A&P flachcards.

I think it does depend on the textbook you are using. My lab exams were all based on diagrams. Our teacher based her exams on the text diagrams so I simply studied the textbook and memorized the diagrams. I don't recall the name of the flashcards I bought, but they were based on systemic anatomy. Try to find those so you can narrow things down to the skeletal and muscular systems.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi,
I used Netters anatomy flash cards, they are the best as far as detail in the pictures.
This is especially helpful when you are learing the muscles...
Just my two cents.....

Feel free to use my website, http://www.thehotflash.com/ap112
Unfortunately, it is more organs/blood vessels right now. But you can use it when the time comes.
Also, check out the following web site. I used these tutorials a lot when I took A&P.

I made my own flashcards by scanning my lab book and using those pictures for my cards. What helped me the most were the following websites:

Good Luck!

This would be my suggestion too. Just the act of making the cards really helped me to learn. It's time consuming, but definitely helpful.

I am using Netter's. They are great. I chose Netter's after spending (far too much!) time here searching forums and seeing which flashcards people report worked best.
