Help a new guy.

I'm interested in pursuing Nursing with the hopes of eventually focusing on emergency/ trauma. But that's for the future. I have been trying to find a good respected school for nursing in the Phoenix (Gilbert/Mesa) area to do everything from prerequisites to RN. But since I'm not familiar with any of the schools in the area I have come to you for help.

Students: What school is the best in the Phoenix area? I'm looking for good helpful instructors and a good NCLEX pass rate. I keep reading very negative things about CGCC yet they seem to be rated highly.

Nurses: Where do you like new nurses to be coming from? You know when you find out where they went to school you think, 'this kids got a good chance.'

I'm just trying to set myself up for success and any and all help or insight is appreciated.

I'm currently finishing block 2 at Gateway and I really like it. It's right next to the airport, so it's about 20ish minutes from Gilbert. Gateway has the highest NCLEX pass rates of all the community colleges as well. Good luck!

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Best of luck to you too.

ASU has a great school, but it's a hike from where you are.

A lot of people I work with went to Grand Canyon or went through the GCC/NAU program and they all loved both
