Did you try Kaplan? Honestly I felt the NCLEX was identical to Kaplan. I watched all the online video's and did some of the tests/questions. I know it's alot of money, but in my opinion it's well worth it. I put alot of time in though. I really watched about 25 hours of the video's. I watched them all except the peds and OB/GYN ones, as I just am not interested in that, and figured at most there'd be a few questions on that and not knowing them would not make me fail, lol! Anyway, best of luck to you again. Keep trying

you can do it so dont give up!!! there are free kaplan questions online...just google kaplan question trainers and there are a couple websites where the questions and rationales will come up and its FREE!!! their questions are very similar to nclex...i would not pay for the whole kaplan review online bc all they do is read straight from the book in my opinion

try nclex-rn and nclex-pn at the same time there is nothing wrong if you try nclex-pn maybe you may pass. I failed nclex-rn but that time i really need to work so i can afford taking nclex-RN exam LOL. nursing home doesnt want me to work there because am not certified nursing assistant they told me to get certification first and come back. I was depressed because I dont want to be a cna... i dont wanna change diapers the whole day. I graduated in nursing just to be a cna oh my gosh. and also i need to take the cna exam too. why applied to board of vocational nursing to take the exam than working any other job. i applied to BVNPT after 2 months i took the nclex-PN exam and passed the first time. I went back to that facility and applied as LVN and i didnt know that the man who told me to get certification to work as cna is the administrator. I work there as LVN. LVN usually the charge nurse. but after 6 and half months saving money I resigned because time to take NCLEX-RN again.. and also i got a chance to work in a hospital LVN or RN. I told myself why not take the board first before I work and apply either still LVN or RN now.
by the way I didnt review much in the LVN I just purchase the kaplan nclex-pn q bank which is only $100.00 without the book and i didnt finish it maybe just half of the questions and the kaplan strategy book. but I pass the first time with 85 questions in 1hr and 30 minutes. maybe because I review Nclex-RN when trying to pass the exam.
Best of luck to you.

What ever you do, just keep on trying. You will get it eventually as long as you don't give up.
Thank you guys for the motivation. Thank god for you guys, because you tell other people that are not nurses and they are like you should just give up. . But I told myself I passed nursing school and all I had to go through why would I give up? because of a test thats coming between me and my career...I don't think so!!!. Thanks for taking time and replying :D:D

Jesus is the key for everything you need to day..Don't be discourage in anyway...if you can pass nclex pn then you can pass nclex rn too..my point is instead of studying for nclex pn why don't u study for nclex rn...U can do this with God Almighty...I am tellin this because am aliving testimony..I failed my nclex rn first time with 265 questions on April 11th, i cried, felt worthless, depressed just name it for some day..but i after few days i picked up my nclex 4000 and lacharity and did all the questions, read the rationale right or wrong, wasn't paying attention to any score rather i did the questions in a study mode, beacuse the first time i took my test i was score in the 70's on kaplan trainer and between 70 and 80 on qbank questions, so i went thinking that i will pass but i faild. On June 13th i went back with God Almighty, so as i am writing this now i can boldly and proudly tell u that i am an RN...so u can do this...Pray, pray, pray and pray harder..tell God what you want and He will surely do it for you....Read Mathew 7:7-10 and pray to Him in heaven because He knows your worries...and He cares for you..Goodluck and i will always pray for u.
Thank you so much love your words of motivation God Bless Congrats:yeah:

Prayer is the key to success. God is able to see you through. Never Never never give up.
Some prayer that i used: (1) Psalm 121- I will lift up my eyes into the hills from whence cometh my help,my help cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth...............end. (2) Jeremiah 32 v 27- Behold i am the Lord, the God of all flesh:Is there anything too hard for me? Absolutely no. (3)Proverb 3v5-6-Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, v6-In all thy ways acknowlege Him and He shall direct thy paths. (4)Psalm 50v15 -And call upon me in the day of trouble,i will deliver the and thou shall glorify me. (5)Heb 10v23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering(for He is faithful that promised). (6) luke 1v37- For with God nothing shall be impossible. (7) Mark 9v 23: If thou will believe, all things are possible. (8) Jeremiah 29 v 11: for i know the thoughts that i think towards you.......
God is able to see you through.

Sorry to hear that you have not passed, I know your frustration, but you can do this........this is coming from someone who has taken the NCLEX a couple of times, the last time, really knocked me for six. It took me another 8 months before I could even take up a book to begin preparing again.
What I can say, is you have too many material that you are referring to. I did Kaplan, and I have every book imaginable, but what happens is, you never give any one piece of material to show it worth. This time around, I am using 3 piece of resource Hurst Review, if you have her videos, watch them repeated, Saunders Q&A for in depth knowledge and LA Charity Prioritization Delegation and Assignment.............trust me, that is all you need as it provides all scenarios you will ever encounter. As Hurst states, what you need is repetition, and you must know your CORE CONTENT. If you do not understand how the heart functions and the difference to left and right heart failure etc., then passing this test will be difficult. Once you know your core content, then you can truly talk your way through any question, even if you dont know what the question is truly asking. It is all about the KILLER ANSWER.
Studying this time, I realize that I was not fully prepared as I could have been. before this study plan, I was scoring 40 - 50%, and I was able to convince myself that I was ready.
I take the test again in a couple of weeks, and I must say, this time around, I am not nervous. I have studied and I am prepared.
You can do it, just take it back to the basics.........good luck.
Also, next time, tell no one in your immediate family or friends, although they all mean well, the pressure that is placed on your is too much. The last time, friends and family had me fasting and praying to every God imaginable, whether it was God, Jesus, Allah, Buddah, the NCLEX God's and even a couple of chickens....coupled with the immense pressure I placed on myself.....by the end of it, I was such a nervous wreck.....this time around I am telling no one, I will just view the day as another day I would have sat at home and take a practice test.
You got this, don't stress it and you will be fine.......

You should try Kaplan...the questions are similar and they really do help!
Good luck!
