I did great again yesterday. At work, there have been christmas parties daily. I dodged cheesecake from one end, and cookies and cakes from the other. I know I can indulge if I want, but I feel to vulnerable at this point. Maybe in a few weeks. Plus, Im going to my mom's for christmas and I think I'll splurge then. We'll see.Counting points is getting easier by the day. I have dropped about 3 lbs, probably water weight. I will keep it up for now, one day at a time.....
Strong work!!! You did better than me! I was on orientation (new job) on night shift night before last. The hospitalist group sent a HUGE platter of yummy cookies to each shift. I held out until 2 a.m., then someone made a fresh pot of coffee. The smell of the fresh brew combined with those cookies screaming at me when I was getting tired and was due for my break.... well, the cookies won. I only had 2, and they were not supersized, so it could have been a lot worse. But - then came a trip to Perkins for breakfast this morning with DH. He had been traveling for work all week, and we are both off the next 4 days, so I felt entitled to something 'good'. Splurge city - giant breakfast of turkey/bacon/eggs benedict, country potatoes. My only restraint was to have the fruit instead of the baked goods. Full cream in the coffee too instead of something more low cal. Ugh. Have been snoozy since we got home. Need to be good the rest of the week until I weigh in - might put that off 'til next Sat. to give myself a couple extra days!!!
The good news is I am down another pound (prior to breakfast...), official WW loss - a total of 5.8 lbs so far. :w00t:
Zoe - congrats on the resizing of your bra!! I always figure that means I am losing 'back fat', a harder place to lose!
Think I'll put something in the crockpot for dinner....

Hey guys, I already announced this elsewhere but what the hey, here it is again - I am in a pair of jeans from 2 years ago!! And they are not tight! Have not been able to wear regular jeans in that amt of time, I am so THRILLED! Wish I had a full length mirror to check it out lol -- Ok, it's worth it -
Going out to eat tonite - but I am motivated LOL

Off the wagon a bit today, but will be back on tomorrow. Could have been lots worse is my philosophy for the day.

Eh I kind of blew it today, not so much in volume but in some of the stuff I ate. Water and veggies it is
I'm back on the wagon too! Hit the treadmill, then did a nice relaxing 20 min yoga tape afterwards. Felt good to sweat a little! Ate well today too. Scale was nice to me and said I didn"t gain any, but it has been known to be a little less than accurate at times. I plan on being a very good girl between now and WW weigh in on Sat. a.m.
Working (orienating at new job) tomorrow and Friday, hope they have not stocked up on too much junk, lol! Maybe they will have scavenged it all already...;

that's cool, never heard that term before!
Well thank God for that non scale (IMHO a "small" scale) victory - or I would be really ticked. I've been frozen at the 11 lb wt loss for about 3 weeks. I know I need to step things up but meanwhile, I am depriving myself of some really good stuff right now, considering the season! And if I indulge "just a little" =- off I will be again, regaining the wt and totally unable (unwilling?) to try again. So ... (drumming fingers ...) LOL
