Doing pretty well. Worked all day, but ate a salad and some fish for lunch :)
AND I abstained from the cookie I really wanted. I told myself I could have whatever sweet I wanted, but I had to hold off for an hour--and by then I could live without it, woo hoo.
I'm a bit behind on glugging as Muffie calls it, but I should have that made up by bedtime. (Or HS, as I like to call it )
Quiet day on this thread, hope everyone is out having fun somewhere :)
Hi All
A friend from work loaned me a DVD of the series, "Law and Order Trial by Jury" = so I spent all nite Friday nite watching it! I love stuff like that...
And yesterday, watching for thunderstorms which were supposed to be severe (60 mph is pretty severe for here). I worked both days too. I am doing ok, not horrible, not great. (yawning) today is a church day so I took a nap after church - and we have service tonite too. It is good for me and I enjoy that!
Next weekend they are having anniversary Sunday so I will have to be careful not to overindulge ... you know those Baptists!!

Ugh. This picture is an accurate representation of how I feel at the moment. Have been working on a research paper all weekend. Tomorrow morning I have to go to work early for final prep so we can cheerfully great JCAHO at the door. Right.
On a positive note, I got off my butt periodically and hit the treadmill, chalked up over an hour in divided doses yesterday, and heading there right now. Eating has been about a 50/50 success ratio. Crunchin and gluggin, but managed to glug a couple of beer's last night to get the research info out of my head for a while! Actually, it was a girl's night out which was fun!
Sorry I haven't been here much - am REALLY hoping things are going to settle down towards the end of this week! The homework schedule is due to lighten up a bit, JCAHO will be gone, and my replacement will start orienting with me on Wed. Wooo Hooo! Until then.....

Zoe, I love Law and Order :) It's so nice to be able to borrow/rent/buy DVDs and watch a years worth of TV without any commercials We go to church about a mile away from our house, so we get to walk. Sometimes we make it before the bells stop ringing
Your baptist dinner sounds great--nothing tastes as good as a church dinner, does it?

I adore it - and I just couldn't stop watchin til I watched all 3 of the discs! we're talking 4 x 3 x 1 hrs... what a nite! but I was able to sleep about 6-7 hrs before work so it worked out

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't checked in here in a few days. A few minor projects called for my attention and I haven't really been getting very much done besides my journal.
Thank goodness, DH did the shopping this week. I really didn't have time to do more than text him a couple of times about what we were out of.
If I get more than two minutes, I'll pop back and catch up on this thread. It's so helpful to have support - you guys are wonderful in helping me with hints and recipes and keeping on track!
