(drumroll please....)
Survey says.... 7 inches! Personally I find that more impressive than the poundage. 7 inches of blubber gone but I'm still quite a ways away from fitting into my skinny jeans. Heading the right direction tho!
Now that's motivation to keep going!!!

Waist size is supposed to be a risk factor for diabetes, and also skin fold thickness is a more accurate method of measuring wt loss/gain - so - I concur with your being impressed! YAOOOOO! er - HOO-rah ... lol
I am unfortunately off the wagon with the carbs -- kinda blue the last few days (which came first?) I will get back to it I'm sure but ... sigh... I get discouraged starting over and over and over again ... Well, you are an inspiration Blue! and thanks!
Zoe - me too with the carbs . . . . I ate raw cookie dough yesterday.:chair:
I did work out last night at the gym though - I dunno, maybe I came out even. :pumpiron:

Hi everyone!
Check it out!! I am now down 8 #'s (since 12/15!). I plan on doing an official weigh in at Curves and get the inches tally in the morning.
This weeks goals - exercise 5 times (have gotten 2 done, so I'm off to a good start). Eat 5 servings fruits/veggies. Ben gettin' 4 in every day so still 'needs improvement' here. I'm keeping a food diary to help myself stay on track. It has helped, actually, and I thought that was all nonsense before. Big reward if I get it done and keep these last couple of pounds off thru Fri - Will get a professional massage and facial on Saturday! That was motivation enough to make me not order pizza for dinner when I got home late, we had soup instead!
Okay, Muffie, Diet Chinese food? Not sure it exists, other than in those frozen South Beach meals. Or maybe the rice was brown rice?
Hi Rain! You go girl! The Curves thing is the only thing making the pounds come off for me. No work out = no weight loss, and possible gain if I skip too many days.
Welcome Cisco!! Good for you with the whole family thing. It's so hard to do, but sleeping better is a good barometer you did the right thing. I just read something about getting enough sleep and it's effects on weight losss. Has something to do with the whole cortisol influence on our metabolism.
Hiker - 8 miles? In one day? Right on! You ARE The Hiker! You need to add that to your badge at work, I think. You are...
!
Hey Sarah - how's school going? Hope work wasn't too crazy for you yesterday!
Hi to everyone I missed. Later!
