Hey Zoe - you are such a great motivator!
I bought some whole-grain pita bread halves yesterday, got some dark green lettuce (don't remember which kind though -hehe) and some tomatoes out of the garden along with the remains of the roasted turkey breast from last night. Ooh - also some avocados and some feta cheese for flavor, plan on having sandwiches made of such for the week. Trying so hard to be good! Gained a few pounds here lately, so need to work out that. Oooh - also exercised again with the kiddos yesterday - yeay! :)

I have been good - oatmeal for breakfast yesterday & doing that again today. Had a whole-grain pita sandwich with lots of veggies for lunch yesterday and a big salad with some pasta last night. I am exhausted today though - need some sleep! Yawn!

I am doing well in general - now health wise, not too great but not as bad ha ha-
Oh - Question - what are you getting for protein in your diet? that could be what is making you tired! not enough protein means that the body eats MUSCLE (as well as fat) and guess what the heart is... just a thought and if it is n/a, fuggedaboudit!

I actually think we are good in the protein department - out here we are very much carnivores, so plenty of 'bad' meats (mostly cattle since we raise our own beef - organic that way at least) I eat every night. I actually think it's sleep deprivation from the work/school/kids mode. :chuckle:

Just was wondering cuz I don't think I have seen you mention meat dairy etc -
I can identify from "the mode" - altho when I was younger, you would'na believe what I could do. Now I am old enough to complain (and I do, on Tuesdays, for about 4 hrs).

that is good incentive, feeling better! I think I am losing a few pounds, I weigh once a month so we will see come the first wk in Nov...

I'm back on track and doing well.
Zoe, I'm off six days during Thanksgiving. So I'm sure to be bad then. Usually I'm bad from Halloween to New Years Day.
You guys gotta help me out during those trying months. :)
