Zoe - I am bad about self-sabatoge with positive comments as well. It's like, oh goodie, I'm getting somewhere, now I can do what I want. I have to be really careful with that too.

Muffie, congrats on the -2, WooHoo!!! You go Muffster!

Blue, positive vibes sent your way. Hopefully the stress of not knowing will be over soon, that is so hard! Let us know!

LOL - pizza, lasagna, whatever, they both sound yummy - thank goodness I live in the middle of nowhere :chuckle:

Hi Tweety - still keeping it up at the gym?

Well, I have been sticking with the walking and am really proud of myself for having not cheated on that, I'm prone to do so, so yeay! I ate good yesterday, I managed to avoid the urge to get a cheeseburger at a drive-through near the college last night and instead ordered a salad - yeay! Been good today so far too, so WooHoo!!! Now to manage to get through the holiday weekend being good . . . I think I can and I'm in that mindset, so it should be good!

Hello to everyone and anyone I may have missed!!!

Hope y'all have a happy, healthy Memorial Day Weekend!

Good job Sarah! I haven't got any of the typical holiday plans (usually don't anyway) so the usual foods won't be there to sabotage me - altho - I don't usually need any encouragement to cheat already! I did ok today ... not the best but like, I had the hamburger, but not the fries.

Greetings!!!

Hope everyone is well.

I went to the gym three times this week and will again tomorrow (or so I say) and will meet my goal of four times this week. Tonight I'm forgetting the diet and eating out. I'm waiting on my sister to arrive. I'm starving. Probably not a good idea

Tweety, do you see your sister often and is that a nice thing, to see her?

God bless -- I am eating a healthy lunch, then off to work. It is so HOT IN THERE you would think I'd lose wt from sweating alone, but I guess if you replace fluid the way you should, you WON'T lose wt, will you?

Anyway - take care, have a nice visit!

Hey guys and gals

I've eaten pretty well for the last couple of days. Knew I was going out to eat at a fancy restaurant with DH and his work last night, so I ate lightly during the day :) And yes, the dinner was worth it!

No time to go to the gym; several 13 hour days in a row kind of knock the stuffing out of me ;) I'll get back on track next week.

Howdy everyone..mostly sounds like good news.

Not doing well here....but this is the last day of travel assignment and that means..no more eatting on the road, I think that will be big help and easier to find time for curves...figure this gives me two extra days a week for stuff.

Will have to get in a routine at home, since I have been staying with Daddy, I am on their routine for eatting, etc....now to figure out my own( well, mine and dh)

Anyway, see you guys in a few days, company at home when I get there tomorrow and will take them to the airport Tuesday, then will check back with everyone

Zoe, my sister just moved in, so I'll be seeing a lot more of her. Her and BIL are staying with me while they search for a place.

I'm having a cookout today with burgers, chips and all the trimmings. Tomorrow it's back on the diet. We've been enjoying good food and company this weekend.

I did go to the gym on Saturday.

er, have a safe trip. :)

We broke the diet to celebrate DS's graduation a couple of days ago. I didn't even think about dieting.

(At the graduation I was fascinated by the guy sitting next to me, very ADD type, up and down throughout -- gave DH and me a little workout getting up and down to let him out -- munching nachos absolutely dripping with cheddar at 0900 through the graduation ceremony. Yick. Had to wonder if he didn't work nights, yanno?:lol2: )

So I tried to watch it for the next couple of days, because it usually takes 2 days for my weight to spike after I've had a non-diet meal.

(I used to say I was "being bad," but I'm not gonna beat myself up like that anymore. It only makes me feel defeated, which in a very sly way, sabotages me and actually allows me to give up and give in, and eat way too much of what I shouldn't.)

Anyhow, the upshot is that I haven't really gained anything overall, to my surprise.

And another great thing happened: I found my old WW points guide so I know about how much to cut back for this next round of loss. At the time I joined WW, I was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up there, so even though I've been yo-yo'ing back and forth, I've managed to keep 25 pounds off since that time a couple of years ago.

Emotionally I'm in a much better place. Less frustration, less emotional eating. I'll never be that Nicey-nice person, or that Totally Cool Laid Back person that I've always wanted to be, or even that Little Miss Perfectly Efficient person *by a long shot* but I can pretty much look at myself in the mirror and be okay with who I am, what I'm doing with my life, and how I feel.

Make sure to add some nice cheddar to that burger, and have a tastey side of potato salad to boot! Maybe a little strawberry shortcake for dessert?

I love a good cookout! Roasting some corn on the cob on the grill is tastey too!

Have fun!
