Health Differences Across the lifespan 2 advice

Published

Hi all..................

Looking for advice.......I took HD2 in May and failed with an "F". Took it again in June and failed with a "D". Had taken practice exams and earned a 49\100 and a 52\100.

As of now, have asked to retest early to be able to buy the practice exam again. Took "form A" today and earned a 75\100.

Have had a phone conference with nursing staff at EC, taken HD2 online conference and done flash cards to study with.

I am thinking of taking HD2 on 9-25 or 9-26 due to time off of work.

This is last nursing exam and all pre-reqs are done.

Any advice?????

When I got 75's I got an A.

Go kick some NC exam butt!

Thank you!!! I'd be happy with a passing "C" after failing this exam x2!!! (Next is the CPNE!!)

If you did better on the practice exams, that is a very good sign! I failed the 1st time with a "D" and I studied my butt off and got an "A" on the retake.. I think the thing that helped me most was knowing the diseases, symptoms and interventions in and out. When I got in the test center and got my board, I wrote down what I knew per disease because after 100 questions my mind started to spin.. Anyway, just remember to take your time and read the question.. make sure you are answering what the question is asking! Good luck, you can do this! Treat youself to something nice after you pass :-)

I just took practice form B and earned an 81%.

Scheduled to take actual test on Thursday (9-25-2008) at 1pm.

I'm just full of anxiety!!!!!!!!!!!

:yeah: Awesome grade for that practice exam! Will send good thoughts, prayers, and positive vibes to you on Thursday. You seem really prepared. Breathe, and maybe Lunah, Sue, and BBFRN will send you the RX. for More Cowbell. LOL!:p Just maybe that Cowbell may relieve you of your anxiety. I, too, have bad test anxiety. I get into the test center and it is quiet, but my heart is in tachycardia mode, and the palms of my hands are sweating. I sit there for about 2 minutes of silence to help regain composure, and I feel better. Now, I am still stressing, but I get the job done, and just pray that I pass. Good Luck! Traci

Thank you all!!!!!!!!!

I passed with a "B" today!!!
