HCC Spring 2017 Nursing Program

Published

Anyone out there know if they are applying for the 2017 Nursing program for HCC (Hillsborough Community College)? I am! Just realized I want to do this so I'm taking A&P 1 and 2, microbiology, and sociology this summer. Apparently its called the crazy train! Anyone else doing something similar?

Turning mine in today! Good luck guys!

Ok. I have made a quick list of GPAs for everyone that has posted! That way we aren't having to continually ask each other. :)

When I talked to my advisor, she explained that the applicant pool for the Fall semester was really low and wouldn't be surprised if the Spring will be the same. The TEAS is throwing a lot of people off... especially now with the TEAS VI starting at the end of the month.. so fingers crossed.

Ill add you to the list when you post your GPA!

What is everyone's priority campus/times? Im hoping to Plant City days....

For evenings, do we stay in the same campus? It says Dale Mabry spring entry/Plant city fall entry. If we get admitted to evenings and apply for the spring then do we always stay on Dale Mabry campus?

Preferring DM mornings or afternoons.

I passed my teas guys not a high score but passing. I have a 3.66 gpa for the prereqs and a 3.5 for overall gpa and I will be turning in my application in on Friday. I just can't seem to get old teas scores from Keiser which I took almost two years ago and they request them all on the application. Ugh I just hope they aren't mandatory also anyone know about clinicals I need to know for my kids sake. I also want SouthShore morning classes and hopefully a flexible clinical day.

My advisor told me if the application asks for those old teas scores than you NEED to send them in. Have you tried going into the teas website and printing them from there ?

Yes I have they suck because they have them

blocked only for Keiser so I think I will just have to take a drive there or call early and see if they can unblock them hopefully they don't charge to get thought being that there so old.

I believe my GPA is a 3.29 (college algebra got me many moons ago) and I am hoping for the evening/weekend program at Dale Mabry. I really wanted PC night/weekend since it is closer to home, but that is only offered for Fall entry.

Dale Mabry nights and weekends is the only option that would work for me. So I'm really hoping I get it. But then again If I don't I will have to consider a part-time job as opposed to my full time to fit my nursing school schedule, which I wouldn't be too happy about. But we will wait and see :D

I think we all have that one class that we took awhile ago that hurts us now for me it was English 1101 :( but I am sure we will all get our choices hopefully!

I am unsure what's going to work for me I will probably need night ultimately because of clinicals since I hear we can't chose them. It's either nights I have to find a sitter for kids since my husband works days or have to find someone to take them and pick them up on my clinical days guhhl I'm already overwhelmed and I haven't been accepted yet lol. Good luck I'm praying we all get our first choices and can have it flexible í ½í¸ƒ
