HCC Spring 2017 Nursing Program

Published

Anyone out there know if they are applying for the 2017 Nursing program for HCC (Hillsborough Community College)? I am! Just realized I want to do this so I'm taking A&P 1 and 2, microbiology, and sociology this summer. Apparently its called the crazy train! Anyone else doing something similar?

I feel that as long as we get accepted we somehow have to work around our nursing schedule . I might even have to stop working which I really don't want too :nailbiting:

That is so true we have to accommodate after all we want to be nurses so we have to make sacrifices. My step mom is a RN and she has already explained to am what goes on and the stress. I feel

if we survive nursing school we can survive anything.

I'm dieing for the last week if September to be here already :sarcastic:

So am I now they email you acceptance and it's only 8-10 weeks for deliberation which is quicker from past blogs I stalked.

Yeah someone had said they emailed the health science admissions saying we would know before October 1st .

All of my documents have been received. I was really worried that something would go wrong with my application. My prereq GPA is a 4.0 my teas score was a 76 and my first campus choice is southshore. Good luck to everyone!

I noticed that my TEAS test is not listed in my documents in the web adviser. Is this normal?

That's a great gpa I'm behind you with a 3.667 and a lower teas but passing and you are suppose to give copies of each attempt with your application which I finally got even from other campuses. Your teas score is updated in my advisor under test summary that's why you probably don't see it.

FutureNurse- Im glad you finally received your TEAS scores!

I am getting frustrated with transcripts from many years ago at USF. They are RIGHT down the road.. and my out of state ones came in before USF. If I dont see them in my documents tomorrow I may have to go straight to USF and bring them to HCC. LoL. I refuse to let technicalities be the reason I do not get in! I haven't checked the boards too much for past semesters... is our board more or less than normal?

Yes definitely need those they are strict on transcripts you will get them have faith but the deadline is Monday so they need to send them or it could just be that HCC is moving slow they are known for that.

Hi Everyone,

I just dropped of my application today and fingers crossed that I will get in my GPA is 3.3 so hopefully that is enough. Anybody look into any LPN programs for backup? Best of luck to us all
