Hi, the quote below is from the Polk Nursing website: "This system considers factors such as scores on any required admission testing, overall cumulative GPA and cumulative GPA in program courses, and obtainment of a previous college degree at the time of application" I calculated my points based on pre-req and cumulative GPA and TEAS, since I don't have any previous degrees. As far as I know, I don't think CPR certification helps you in the admissions process, but I could be wrong. I think they would mention that somewhere so we could send In our certification along with our application.

Thats the minimum gpa required to be considered. The applicants usually have a much higher gpa, so for this semester the cut-off was 3.66.

Yes mine says the same. I know it totally sucks. I didn't have much hope for HCC, but I still had a little lol

I just received my rejection e-mail from the other school I applied to. So now I'm even more nervous about whatever I receive from Polk. UGH, I was never good at waiting lol
