I got a big envelope in the mail got excited but it was only the acceptance into HPU as a pre nursing major

Congratulations! ????  I think it is important to celebrate every victory -- especially those that are proof of progress. 

I still don't have any updates to share. I'm staying positive and hoping for the best.

Hi Hopeful Future FNP,

Do you recall what date you submitted your app? Your last audit was 9/14/21 and I was wondering how early you submitted yours considering apps were due 10/1/21... I submitted mine pretty late on 9/25/21 and my degree works still shows pre-nursing and the last audit was 9/29/21.

Hi Faith96706!

I submitted my application on the evening of 9/11 and they sent an email saying that it was under review on Monday. I took the TEAS test on the 10th. 

I still have no idea why my major changed. I phoned admissions to ask, and they told me to contact an administrative assistant who also had no idea why it changed. So, it remains a mystery. 

I'm trying not to read too much into it, because they could just as easily switch it back to pre-nursing. It could be a glitch. I would be crushed if I don't get in, but I would feel even worse if I thought that they accepted me and then changed their minds at the last minute. 

It seems likely that they only do rolling admissions for the folks that weren't picked up for the previous admission period. The rest of us are first-time applicants who will be notified at the beginning of November.

In regards to the email stating that your application was under review, was it from --------------------?  When I applied for the previous applications for the Fall semester I received that email from her stating my app was under review but I did not receive one this time..... Not sure if I'm over thinking or if it simply just got lost. 
 

I'm glad you are being positive about your situation. I hope and pray that you will get accepted! Your GPA and TEAS score are amazing!! Also, I hope they figure things out soon because they honestly seem disorganized.

Yes it was from her. That was a few weeks ago then I received that envelope with the HPU info.

I was looking at my acceptance email and came from the BSN program it’s self. Did you email them

and ask when the email should be sent out.. I was constantly emailing them ?

Wow I don’t even have access to that. When I click that link it says you are not authorized . I tried on Google chrome and internet explorer. Is it under degree plan?
