I have a felony in the state of Michigan, Sentence this past Sept. I applied for a Florida RN licence and it had to go in front of the board on Feb2, 2011 and IT WAS APPROVED... Now, if I move to Florida Will I be able to find a job as A RN?

what was the crime? Some HR managers may be willing to look past it if it's unrelated to your profession.

Mine was misdemeanors in SC and I got my license. I haven't started looking for a job yet (because I earn more $ at my current job!) and even then, I will start in SC since that is where my husband is stationed....and then I will move back home after he retires (in a few short years)...

What nursing school did you attend? I have applied to Everest and received a hit on my fingerprints. The school indicated that it has to be cleared through Corporate after it has been reviewed. I am praying hard that I still be able to get into the May program. Wayne County circuit court indicated that I have to come and fill out some papers and get some copies to get it process at the Michigan State Police Department.

Some things take time to make it through the system.

Self report that felony conviction to the FL BoN, then come tell us if you got to keep that license.

I had to provide the state board of Florida All my Court documents concerning my Felony.. the board know s everything about my past and my criminal background, I had to provide letters of recomendations from several other health care professionls. It went front of the Board and now I do have a license to practice in florida...
