  1. like I have posted many times... it is very easy to get your license. its finding a JOB with a criminal background....
  2. It is very easy to get a Nursing license.. Applied for Lincensure In Florida... Went in front of the Nursing Board. Yes I was given a FLORIDA license.. I think the board knows. its going to be impossible to get work with a FELONY.. SO they give the license....
  3. congrat on you new Florida license. I to was granted a Florida License with a Felony on my record... I am having no luck at all finding a job.

  6. I had a Michigan license. I applied for my Florida license. I sent them every thing concerning my felony and followed the process... went in front of the board and my Florida License was approved.. now need a job...easy to get a license HARD TO FIND A JOB WITH A FELONY
  7. Wanted to tell my story. Was employed with a home care agency. Got in trouble in 2009 and was convicted of a non violent no drug or alcohol related crime. in 2011. Was finger printed by my employer in which of course they found out about my felony... was terminated after 16 years. With a felony in michigan you can not work in home care or long term care...I do feel at this point my nursing career is DONE. Everywhere you go they ask if your ever convicted of a crime and of course when you say YES, your application is tossed into the trash...... any suggestions?
  8. I carry a RN LICENSE IN MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA.. EVERYONE DOES A BACK GROUND CHECK. Does any one have any ideas? It was so easy to get my Florida lisense recently, the board knows everything about me.. why can't someone give me a chance..

It went front of the Board and now I do have a license to practice in florida...

  13. i am a michigan rn. i to have a nonviolent minor felony. i applied for my rn license in the state of florida i had to summit reference letters and i also sumitted a reference letter from my pb. it went in front of the board and it was approved. i have to take a course in legal aspects and ethics on ce broker but this should be easy. now what i fear is when i leave michigan and go to florida will i be able to find a job because of the back ground checks.
