    im a recently licensed RN with a felony charge not conviction from 1996. i have been denied employment from several different hospitals and nursing homes here in El Paso Texas. has anyone experienced these type of obstacles and if so what was the solution. there are only a handful of hospitals here and i fear they will deny me due to my criminal background. what can i do to get a chance to practice nursing. Ive been cleared by the BON, i have a RN license its been years since Ive been in trouble. i hate to think that 4 years of college and thousands of dollars in student loans were a waste. anyone that has helpful info would be greatly appreciated.
