I've applied and am curious if anyone else on here is applying for Spring 2011. Good luck!
I'm a current student in the FACT program and I echo what AtomicWoman said. Be prepared to get very little sleep, as this program will keep you EXTREMELY busy. But make sure to plan study breaks so you won't feel totally burned out. Also, expect not to have much of a social life if you want to be really successful in the program. Overall, FACT is very doable. The faculty is also great and supportive of their students. Congrats to all those who received acceptances and good luck to those still waiting. :)
Thanks, MPHgirl! Good luck to you! Do you know anything about living in Barringer? I had planned on getting my own place off-campus, but I'm not sure I'll have time to apartment hunt next semester. But I also don't want to live in a building with a bunch of noisy kids if it's a bunch of first-time undergrads. When I used to walk by there years ago, it looked like grad or med students around that building.
Thanks!
Hello! I've been accepted! Anyone else? I have a thread under "Pre-Nursing Students" https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/thomas-jefferson-fact-509818.html#post4581704. I found out early September. 1st application round. I did not go in for an interview. Ms. Kelley was gracious to let a phone interview suffice due to living in Colorado and my school schedule. I'm super excited!
hi guys
what are the pre-reqs for the FACT program?
When does school start and when is the application deadline?
I've done ENG100(comp1) , ENG110(comp 2), PSY 140 (intro psycho), SOC110(intro socio), MAT 210 (statistics), PSY210 (dev psy), DPR100 (intro tech&info) and this semester i'm doing chem 1. ethics and A&P1.
I'll be doing A&P2, Chem 2 and microbioly next spring.
Do you think I've enough to apply?
thanks
Mrs,
Check their website for their requirements - better to look than rely on us, since it could change (that happened to me at another school).

If you have a degree in a non-science field and haven't completed any sciences yet, your chances for acceptance are slim - at least according to what I was told a year ago. Since I had a non-science degree, they wanted to see my grades from 3 completed science courses. Their deadline is rolling, but they encourage people to apply as soon as the application opens (Sept 1), since they begin interviews and acceptances almost immediately thereafter.
I think you'll have to apply for 2012. Good luck!

No, absolutely not. Some of my classmates are still unemployed. The market in the Philly area is extremely tight right now.
